Is Saraswati Puja in Bengal becoming the best event for Muslims to twist and draw the best mileage? The question, at the beginning, is enough to dismay anyone but this is a stunning reality. With the passing of each year, assaults of Islamist gangs on Saraswati Puja are increasing exponentially and there is no exception in this year too.
While this news is being written Gopalghata village, under Minakha P.S. in Basirhat sub division of North 24 Parganas, is simply on fire. And the issue is same – Muslim onslaughts to defile and desecrate the Puja. But a certain difference has taken place at this time – Hindus have put up a combined resistance and it has not only stormed Muslim but the local police and administration as well.
On 8th February at 12 pm a few Muslim activists started to create disturbances (all of a sudden) in the observance of Young Star Club at GopalGhata village, P.S: Minakha. The sudden disturbance and strange demands (to call the Puja a halt) of Muslim bad hats definitely stunned Hindus a lot. But their presence in high numbers overpowered Muslims and miscreants had no way except to flee.
It would surely be better, had the scuffle ended at that time. But it’s out of the question on the part of Muslims. A gang of heavily armed Muslim felons (25-30) returned at 8 pm and started destructing surprisingly. While on one hand they were found to vilify the entire Dharma, its sanctified and age-old beliefs, they were ravaging the sacrosanct idol of Goddess along with the courtyard and members of the club on the other.
One member, fortunately, became able to notify adjoining villages of this plunder. This was enough to infuriate Hindus. They reached the spot in large numbers and got hold of a few known Muslim ruffians and handed them over to the police. Strikingly, all these are from adjacent Hasnabad Block.
Names of the Muslim activists are as follows.
1) Nur Amin Mollah (Father – Khaled Mollah, inhabitant of Tentultala, P.S: Hasnabad)
2) Sarifullah Gaji (Father – Sepai Gaji, inhabitant of Govindapur, P.S: Hasnabad)
3) Kuddus Gaji (Father – RupChand Gaji, inhabitant of Ghola Hospital, P.S: Hasnabad)
4) Muzaffar Gaji (Father – Morshed Gaji, inhabitant of Ghola Hospital, P.S: Hasnabad)
5) Babu Gaji
6) Morshid Gaji (Father – Brhamuddin Gaji, inhabitant of Govindapur, P.S: Hasnabad)
As per latest developments, another two noted criminals, named Darooq Ahmed and Rafiqul Mollah, have also been got hold of and handed over to the police.

However, on 9th February 2011, in the morning, a large contingent of Muslims (containing 230-250 people) visited the police station to hook up their case and free dreaded Muslim criminals.

I sincerely hope that the Islamic criminals were thrashed left, right and center before being handed over to the police.
