Hindu Samhati distributes blankets to needy Hindus in Nadia

Democracy stands for Service not Speeches

Democracy in any nation doesn't denote mere speeches or insensate services to indigenous people, especially people belonging to the lowest stratum of the society. Unless wretched people are bettered, there is no future. In contemporary India, dashing hopes of founding fathers of Constitution of India, this has been the trend; myriad instances are there to prove how political or social originations go on delivering mere speeches leaving commoners high and dry.  No differences are witnessed on national holidays even; leaders who grace the daises continue doing the same while hapless people look on them helplessly.

Hindu Samhati, ever since its commencement, has been against this pernicious mindset completely and the best instance of it remains distribution of garments, relief among poor Hindus whenever necessary. A perfect specimen of “Daridra Narayan Seva” as propounded by Swami Vivekananda a century ago.

With this end in view, on January 26, 2013, Hindu Samhati distributed blankets to poor Hindus inhabiting village: Sonadanga, close to Mayapur, District: Nadia.

Leaders of Hindu Samhati who presided the meeting included Bikarna Nasker, Sundar Gopal Das and Dipak Sanyal.

Hindu Samhati, in a nutshell, brought forward the ideal meaning of patriotism.

Hindu temple robbed in Hasnabad

Thefts at Hindu temples are rampant throughout Bengal and with the indifference of police and administration, the number is rising overly. The grievous saga is not limited to any particular district but is extending far and wide.

While a series of burglaries rocked Malda a few days back, now it is the turn of a Hindu temple in Bishpur Majherpara, a village under jurisdiction of P.S. Hasnabad, District: 24 Paraganas (North).

The village is known for the Kali temple of Manimohan Memorial Trust far and near. And that temple was targeted on January 25, 2013 at dead night.

It has been learnt that valuables along with gold jewelries worth Rs. 1 lakh has been stolen.

An official complaint has been lodged by Manimohan Memorial Trust; police is yet to get the culprits.

Hindu Samhati wins decisive struggle in Jibantala

Muslim ruffians overwhelmed, remain dejected

Not even a day passes in the realm of Jibantala, District: 24 Paraganas (South), when Muslim ruffians miss a chance either to malign Hindus or injure them directly. Even after lots of pleas to the local police and administration, the situation remains same and how the same Muslim assailants roam freely with police personnel are perceived almost daily. Hindus, after being betrayed a lot, have decided not to give in and struggle till the last. This mantra propounded by Hindu Samhati has been influencing Hindus substantially; their desperate struggles in every corner prove the same.

The village of Middeypara, under jurisdiction of Panchayat: Atharobanki, P.S. Jibantala, District: 24 Paraganas (South) remained witness to such a flare-up on January 21, 2013. The problem that was intensified with the sudden and fierce attacks of Muslim radicals on Hindus was calmed down by Hindus responding with same fury and vigor finally.

Hindu-Muslim brush started (on the same day) once Ajay Mandal, Hindu youth in the village, was caught by Muslims while he was fishing in the canal close to the public road adjoining Atharobanki. Ajay was maimed virtually and the Hindu woman who tried her best to save him was also assaulted.

When other Hindu youths inquired the reasons behind their anger, no less than 300 Muslims chased them with lethal weapons including bombs. But the terrible Hindu defence that came forth (as a result) was beyond imagination of Muslim toughs; they were not taken aback only but had to retreat shamefully also.  Later on, to tackle the situation along with combative Hindus (without doubt), a large police contingent including 6 cars of RAF was deployed. Both OCs of P.S. Jibantala and P.S. Basanti visited the spot as well.

On January 22, 2013, in the morning, Hindus from Middeypara went to P.S. Jibantala to lodge an official complaint against Muslim toughs. They were told there that a peace meeting to restore normalcy in the very locality would be convened at 5 pm on that day.

The meeting commenced on 5 pm and was attended by high-ranking police officials of both P.S. Jibantala and P.S. Basanti together with Shaukat Mollah, president – TMC, Canning II and Mannan Sheikh, president – TMC, Block: Basanti.

Gautam Ray of Hindu Samhati stole the show through narrating Hindu anguishes (going on for years) and the antipathy of police and administration towards Muslim persecution on them in the area and its vicinity.

The thrust of heartrending speech made people, especially Muslim political leaders, tight-lipped; Muslim assailants were asked to seek forgiveness from Hindus. They asked for forgiveness to all, especially the Hindu woman assaulted while striving to save Ajay Mandal. The peace meeting agreed to deal with any such untoward incident in future sternly.

Hindu resolve crushes Islamic bids to seize Hindu temple in Basanti

When on earth Hindus remain united and fight with vigor, they have the taste of triumph; this has been the lesson of history and Hindus inhabiting the village of Gagramari, P.S. Basanti, District: 24 Paraganas (South) are having it at the moment.

The village of Gagramari is known to have a temple of Shitala Mata for decades. The temple is highly revered in the neighborhood too and a vast land worth 15 bighas is dedicated to Devi all together. However, the same land has been the bone of contention in the village. Muslim radicals in the locality are trying to acquire both temple and land by any means and with this end in view, they are leaving no stone unturned to foment troubles in the village ranging from harassing Hindus regularly to taking help of Muslim toughs of other villages at times.

There have been some other nefarious developments as well. A Hindu individual inhabits a part of temple’s land forcefully and according to Hindus in the village, he is none but a paid agent of Muslims. The pressure of Muslims was realized first when Hindus were prevented from entering the temple in the beginning of January, 2013.

Sensing more such dangers (in the offing), Hindus in Gagramari contacted local activists of Hindu Samhati. To boost their confidence, Hindu Samhati activists decided to enter the temple premises along with Hindus of Gagramari on January 10, 2013. And it became unbearable for Muslim radicals. While Hindu Samhati’s activists with Hindus of Gagramari were returning from the temple, they were stopped by Islamists and their Hindu agent leading to a battle royal altogether. Muslims were heard to threaten Hindus that they would suffer dire consequences if the temple was entered after January 13, 2013.

IC of P.S. Basanti was informed of the Islamic warning straight away; he assured Hindus to adopt necessary actions before long.

Defying the threat of Muslims, hundreds of Hindus of Gagramari, led by Hindu Samhati’s activists, went to the temple of Shitala Mata on January 13, 2013 and performed Puja with splendor. Not a single Muslim dared to interfere.

To fortify the temple’s infrastructure, the temple committee has decided to fence the entire property. It has also been learnt, all fishes of the large lake (next to the temple) have been caught and fencing is on the way.

Hindus are keeping a tight watch while Muslims fear to disturb them even.

Hindu Samhati’s meeting in Minakhan earns great success

On January 13, 2013, Hindu Samhati organized a street corner meeting at village: Fulbari, P.S. Minakhan, Subdivision: Basirhat, District: 24 Paraganas (North). The meeting was presided by Rahul Bhuiyan, Debasish Chakraborty and Biplab; more than a hundred of Hindus joined the meeting.

While speaking on the meeting, Sri Brajen Ray, vice-president of Hindu Samhati, narrated how Muslims throughout Bengal are exerting pressures on the state government relentlessly to have their own demands.  Hindus, to end this burgeoning crisis, have got to rise up, be outspoken and come under a single fold despite differences, whether political or any other.

The Hindu gathering paid homage to Lance Naik Sudhakar Singh and Lance Naik Hemraj Singh, two valiant Indian soldiers murdered grievously during latest violation of ceasefire by Pakistan at LOC, as well. People, there, were found to state Government of India must let its army enter the Pakistani mainland before long and avenge such Islamic brutality going on for centuries.

Debasish Chakraborty, distinguished activist of Hindu Samhati in the locality, while speaking to the audience, said how Hindus are being persecuted regularly in different Hindu-dominated villages in area under P.S. Minakhan – Muslim radicals and also persecutors are being helped by police and administration sneakily to subdue Hindus.

He asked Hindus to join Hindu Samhati en masse to quash rising Muslim terrorism in the locality and also in Bengal.

Two Kali temples robbed in Hedia, Jibantala

Two startling thefts at two Kali temples in village: Hedia, P.S. Jibantala, District: 24 Paraganas (South) have rocked Hindus living there. The venerated temples, existing there for decades, are visited by Hindus regularly to perform Puja and are also regarded as stronghold of Hindus living in the village and its neighborhood. Along the lines of conventional Hindu beliefs, jewelries (of both gold and silver) are donated handsomely by Hindus; a fact known to all in the environs.

Nevertheless, Hindus (depending  on God’s grace much) didn’t feel it necessary to fortify the temple’s security and taking advantage of the same, the nefarious design to rob the temple and also to implement it perfectly took place on January 1, 2013 at 2 am.

It has come to knowledge, diadems of Goddesses worth 1.5 kg, jewelries (of both gold and silver) worth 30 gm., utensils made of brass and bell metal have been stolen.

Hindus in the village have lodged an official complaint to P.S. Jibantala. But police is yet to act.

As a result, Hindus smell a rat; the majority of them feel a clandestine liaison exist between police and thieves, nothing but Muslims. Hindus are simply hapless while the local administration continues to betray them in each and every manner.

Hindu Samhati honors Swami Vivekananda, Indian soldier martyrs vigorously in Bagnan, Howrah

Hindu Samhati’s valorous commemoration of 150 th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda has stirred  different parts of Bengal at the same instant and the prime of it became apparent in Bagnan, Howrah on January 12, 2013.

A large procession, under the leadership of Sri Tapan Ghosh, president – Hindu Samhati, started (on the very day) from the level crossing of Bagnan at 4 pm and ended at the main bus stand of Bagnan at 6 pm.  The huge procession, comprising youngsters mainly, travelled past the Library Road, NH - 6, Station Road and Thana Road impressing onlookers a great deal.

It is worthwhile to mention, the huge procession included 2 finely decorated tableaus – while one was having baronial pictures and teachings of Swami Vivekananda, the other one included pictures of Sri Balasaheb Thackeray, Hindu Hridaysamrat who left for the heavenly abode recently. A separate banner depicting pictures of Lance Naik Sudhakar Singh and Lance Naik Hemraj Singh, valiant Indian soldiers martyred in the latest Pakistani bid to violate ceasefire at LOC, was also witnessed.

People in throngs were found both to appreciate the endeavor and paying floral tributes to pictures of Swami Vivekananda and Indian martyrs.

Anti-Pakistani slogans prevailed the procession and also the meeting place.

Sri Tapan Ghosh, through his valiant and inspiring speech, made the attendees realize how India is becoming a stronghold of Jihadis, ominous influence of mounting Islamic fundamentalism (in every capacity) and unless Hindus turn out to be warring community, it is difficult for them to exist, let alone living peacefully and excel in any discipline.

Hindu Samhati commemorates 150 th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda in Joynagar

Every one of you will have to be a Govind Singh, if you want to do good to your country. You may see thousands of defects in your countrymen, but mark their Hindu blood. They are the first Gods you will have to worship even if they do everything to hurt you, even if everyone of them send out a curse to you, you send out to them words of love. If they drive you out, retire to die in silence like that mighty lion, Govind Singh. Such a man is worthy of the name of Hindu; such an ideal ought to be before us always.

The aforesaid words of Swami Vivekananda continue to instill Hindus yet with fiery emotions and greatest sense of patriotism.

Hindu Samhati, ever since its inception, has been struggling for Hindu cause ardently and if any personality continues to influence its arduous struggle most he is none other than Swami Vivekananda. Swamiji’s each and every word to wake up Hindus and create a mission for them equals to clarion call for war to Hindu Samhati’s activists.

To commemorate 150 th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, Hindu Samhati organized programs at different places across Bengal and Bele Durganagar High School field, P.S. Joynagar, District: 24 Paraganas (South) remained witness to one such.  Hindus attended the program in throngs and the display of strength thus cautioned the local Muslim radicals along with administration highly.

Hundreds of Hindus marched in two processions with saffron flags backed by patriotic songs and bands. While one procession travelled from Madhya (Middle) Bele and went around Dakshin (South) Bele and Uttar (North) Bele, the other one started its journey from Anandapur Primary School and went around Mayahari area. Spontaneous participation of hundreds of Hindus in both processions left strong effect on the neighborhood.

Leaders of Hindu Samhati who graced the occasion included Bikarna Nasker, Sujit Maity, Rajkumar Sardar, Palan Sardar.

Fervent speeches of Bikarna Nasker and Rajkumar Sardar of ideals of Hindu Samhati and how it is abiding by principles of Swami Vivekananda, endeavoring hard to make Swamiji’s dream to make Hindus a warring community impressed Hindus attending the program a great deal.

Hindus in Pather Dabi, Hingalganj refuse to surrender to Muslim radicals

Pather Dabi is a humble village in the realm of P.S. Hingalganj, Subdivision: Basirhat, District: 24 Paraganas (North) and remains Hindu-dominated up to now as well. But this reality has failed to prevent Muslim strong-armers even; 10-15 Muslim households living there coupled with their external supporters rule the roost at the moment.

The Hindu-majority village has witnessed cow slaughter for two successive years – 2011 and 2012. However, Hindus in the village built up a massive defence against cow slaughter during last Eid in 2012 and waged the combat against both Muslim malefactors and their administrative bosses for days. But Muslim culprits didn’t stay silent; scores of Hindu houses were destructed in reply while the administration preferred to retain a strange silence.

Pather Dabi is apprehensive of untoward developments in this year too; each and every struggle intensifies Hindu confidence. Hindus refuse to leave a single post in the ensuing struggles.

Dakshin Barasat turning into complete hell for Hindus

Dakshin (South) Barasat happens to be an important area in District: 24 Paraganas (South) and has a railway station too in the Sealdah-Laxmikantpur section. Even if sporadic Hindu-Muslim clashes used to affect the locale, law and order was not in danger.  The situation is not same any more – the earlier composition of the area has been changing drastically risking Hindus alone, according to locals.

What people are saying – a good number of Muslim families, hailing from outside regions, are increasingly occupying areas behind platform no. 2 (belonging to Indian Railway exclusively) and have built up a mosque there also without permission. Small-scale businesses of Hindus (before) have become greatest casualties and are being grabbed by the Muslim felons.

Repercussion of this terrible development is being felt in other social spheres also. It is becoming increasingly impossible for Hindu girl students to go either to school or Dhruba Chand Halder College (DCHC) nearby safely – eve-teasing coupled with sexual harassments of them by Muslim youths is rampant.

Even if Hindus have complained to the local administration repeatedly, there has been no apposite response yet; let alone adopting stern measures by police to stop such anti-social activities.

What is adding to Hindus’ woes, the number of Muslim families is rising exponentially with each day it passes.

Should Hindus remain silent still and watch their own gradual destruction? Or is it the time for them to react?

Poor Hindus are unwanted in Bengal

Governmental disregard to them continues successfully

No matter how Bengal is going through a political trauma at the moment (stimulated by escalation in political violence with each day it passes) there is no dearth in government’s appeasement to Muslims. As part of latest development, the state government is all set to establish haat (market) sheds in several areas across the state for people to sell and even store vegetable products; the advantage will be for the underprivileged people from minority community, solely Muslims.

It has also come to knowledge, the above-said infrastructure will be available in 12 districts throughout the state. And every shed will contain cold storage, retail outlet, training center along with hall for public sale.

As fresh reports have come to us, 29 markets (as part of 1 st Phase) will be built up in the districts of Cooch Behar, Dinajpur (both North and South), 24 Paraganas (both North and South), Howrah, Birbhum, Burdwan and Kolkata.  To deal with the expenses, the State government has already received a vast fund worth Rs. 350 crore from the Centre (under the Multi-sectoral Development Program or MsDP).

The project will be carried out by the joint efforts of Minority Affairs Department and Agri-marketing Department of Bengal.

On the word of Giasuddin Molla, State Minister for Minority Affairs, “We are also organizing Milan Mela in several districts where poor people from minority community are selling their several products.”

Poor Hindus inhabiting the state in millions are betrayed once more; they are at the receiving end of governmental neglect and affront.

Perhaps, it is better for Hindus to abstain from expecting anything good from Trinamool-led Bengal government.

Hindu families in Khiriskhali, Basanti living under Islamic terror

Village: Khiriskhali, P.S. Basanti, District: 24 Paraganas (South) happened to be a Hindu-dominated area once but no more…. blatant Muslim appeasement of governments in Bengal down the ages coupled with unrestrained illegal migration of Muslims from neighboring Bangladesh have sealed fates of Hindus in this village forever.

Only two Hindu families exist in the village these days virtually and in a great terror round the clock. Ten years before, Anadi Naskar, a Hindu individual, to get relief from rising Islamic atrocities then sold 10 bighas of his ancestral property to Muslims and left for the nearby Hindu-dominated village: 3 no. Kumrakhali.

Now, his nephew is having brunt of the same. Neighboring Muslims, as fresh reports are coming in, have occupied 22 skhatak land of 47 shatak land belonging to nephew of abovementioned Anadi Naskar. And now, Muslims are endeavoring to get hold of the remaining portion straight away. The Hindu family is experiencing all sorts of atrocities at the moment ranging from intimidation to sexual harassment of Hindu women. Conflicts between Hindus and Muslims have risen vehemently regarding a pond of Hindus. While Muslims are trying to have it in any way, Hindus are defending best. However, they do not know how long they will be able to wage the battle.

Daughter-in-law of said Anadi Naskar was threatened of late. She was told by Muslim criminals unless her family stopped the battle, she would be kidnapped and raped in broad daylight.

The two Hindu families are in extreme fear at the moment. Police, in spite of repeated requests made by Hindus, has not entered the village: Khiriskhali to date.

Hindu Samhati has assured the two Hindu families of struggling for them.

Muslim Radicals Desperate to Construct an Illegal Mosque in Baruipur

Again evil designs of a few Muslims was witnessed on December 16, 2012 when hundreds of them gathered at Shani Battalar More in Ramnagar, P.S. Baruipur, District: 24 Paraganas (North) at 7.30 am to construct an illegal mosque close to a Hindu temple.

The temple falls within a PWD area, alongside PMGSY (Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana) leading to a Muslim majority area in the environs. And owing to the same, Islamists (local) have got a shot in the arm and are hell-bent to acquire the entire locality. A bus depot (Shani Battalar More Yatrinibas) does also exist there. In recent months, Islamists have turned the bus depot into a club virtually; a namaz room has also been built within the club and what is more imperative, interior decoration has begun to turn the same room along with the club into a mosque.

The temple exists next to the mosque. Islamists are not ready to accept its existence and this has been the basis of Hindu-Muslim tension for years. Islamists have been trying to bump off the temple; Hindus have been offering valiant defence in return also.

Now, to call the Hindu defence a halt forever, on December 16, 2012 hundreds of armed Islamist youths gathered in the morning to construct the mosque forcefully. The gathering did not comprise Muslim youths only; Muslim women were also perceived to take part in strength. While Muslim youths were displaying all forms of lethal weapons, Muslim women were armed with powder of red peeper.

Local Hindus, to stop the Islamic aggression, phoned the local police station lots but at every time, IC of P.S. Baruipur – Subrata Kangsabanik – turned their helpless pleas down. Later, Hindus getting desperate, phoned Mr. Partha Acharya, SDO and thanks to his timely interference the crisis subsided. Following his orders, Subrata Kangsabanik, though reluctantly, went to the spot and restrain Islamists.

But the crisis has not come to an end. Islamists are resolute to go on with their agenda and attain the objective.

With this end in view, on December 17, 2012, a large mob of Islamists ravaged local party office of Trinamool Congress. Attackers were heard to say that Muslims would do anything to build the mosque and destruct the temple. They also said that something enough to stun entire India would happen soon and Hindus would not be spared (Hinduder chulkani hoyeche, chulke debo).
