Hindus remain stranded

Malancha, situated in Sub-division: Basirhat, District: 24 Paraganas (North), has been a hotspot of animosity between Hindus and Muslims for years and village: Sastitala, one of the many villages in it, witnessed a corresponding flare-up once more on February 19, 2012. However, the basis of this hostility is quite unusual and it’s regarding a transformer (an electrical device by which alternating current of one voltage is changed to another voltage). But police, strikingly, was found to be reluctant to adopt any measure in this regard. Thanks to the strange indifference of the administration Hindus remained confounded, it is needless to say.

Hindus, being desperate and to put an end to the police’s strange mind-set, went en masse to the police station on February 21, 2012 (Tuesday) at 11 am. Nonetheless, police personnel did not even care to speak to them till 2 pm and Hindus were left stranded. The step motherly treatment of police proved to be more than enough to make Hindus impatient and they burst into loud protests altogether. In consequence of the topsy-turvydom police, ultimately, buckled under and pledged to take criminals into custody before long.

Whatever it is no arrest has taken place yet and it is being alleged that an influential Islamist lobby is trying hard to prevent police and administration from adopting necessary methods and also to nab the criminals.

Hindu Samhati was prevented by the same Trinamool Congress-led government from celebrating its 4 th Anniversary in Kolkata on February 14, day before yesterday, on a flimsy ground. Nevertheless, the verdict of Hon’ble Kolkata High Court and exemplary courage of Hindu Samhati activists overpowered the hell-bent and vicious design ultimately.

Mamata Didi is for Muslims only and not for Hindus by any means. Hindus in Bengal have got to remain conscious of their own destiny or else nothing can overwhelm the impending disaster.

Hindus in Sonarpur-Rupnagar defeat malicious planning of police to raze temple

Hindu Samhati, Matua Mahasangha played major roles

The small yet significant town of Sonarpur-Rupnagar, P.S. Sonarpur, Sub-division: Baruipur, District: 24 Paraganas (South), experienced a new event today itself and it was the desperate effort of the local administration to raze a Hindu temple, belonging to the All India Matua Mahasangha, on a trivial ground. But what will remain as the nightmare of the concerned officials was the resistance of local Hindus under the aegis of Hindu Samhati and All India Matua Mahasangha (Sonarpur Block Committee) that made them return empty-handed. However, Hindus are yet to have a sigh of relief, past experiences being a great example, and to carry forward the struggle they even blockaded the Ghasiara-Narayanpur Road, thoroughfare of the area, bringing the traffic to a standstill.

Well, the temple and its problems from the very beginning are quite interesting to go through. The temple of All India Matua Mahasangha was built in 2006 and as per local Hindus, a few cadres of CPM, reigning then, demanded a sum of Rs. 50, 000 from the Matuas which was rejected straight away. And to have a good vengeance Sri Kamal Ganguly, Chairman of Sonarpur-Rajpur municipality stepped in and terming the temple as the bastion of asocial activities made great efforts to defame it outright. Even a formal case was registered as well and in 2008, High Court of Kolkata gave a verdict terming the temple as illegitimate and the need to demolish it. Nevertheless, defiance of local Hindus at that time prevented governmental officials from moving further.

With the change of guard in the last assembly election people hoped for betterment and truly, it was noticed in the initial days of the reigning government. But within a few days, Hindu state candidly, all changed for the worse and Sri Indubhushan Bhattacharya, prominent leader of Trinamool Congress, has become instrumental to harass the temple and Matua Mahasangha (Sonarpur Block Committee) linked to it. People allege that police visited the place today owing to his pressure only.

The unified resistance of Hindus proved to be too hard for the administration to break down and indeed, any such effort would have led to a ghastly clash only. Hindus were present in the site in large numbers and finally, police requesting the Matua members to reduce sizes of sunshades of more than 4 feet retreat. All India Matua Mahasangha (Sonarpur Block Committee) has assured that the same will be done within February 12, 2012.

Later, to protest against all these Ghasiara-Narayanpur Road was blockaded for a few minutes.

Bajrangbali Banned in Bengal......The Persecution Continues.........

Is it crime to have Bajrangbali in a Hindu residence?

This is story of Mr. Prashanta Das, a Hindu businessman, resident of village: Chingripota, P.S. Budge Budge, District: 24 Paraganas (South), and how he and his entire family have been languishing for the last 2 years. He, in accordance with police personnel, has made a serious offence – through establishing a brawny statue of Bajrangbali – Hindu icon Lord Hanuman – on the main entrance of his residence – as it has infuriated Muslims and their religious feeling, in the environs.

This single act has had lots of implications thus far – Prashanta was first cautioned by Rajiv Sharma, O.C. (Officer-in-Charge) - P.S. Budge Budge on August 14, 2010 who told him candidly how the presence of Bajrangbali was hassling Muslims and their religious sentiments. The O.C. went to the Hindu residence without warning and virtually told him that Muslims had stated “to see this Hindu idol while doing Namaz is anti-Islam and blasphemous and should be immediately brought down”. However, the mosque, positioned in the adjacent land of the Das family, is illegitimate as the land was seized from the Hindu family by Islamic toughs criminally and only through using pressure tactics. The O.C., in spite of vindications of the Das family members, remained unmoved and went on saying consistently that the statue would have to be removed to maintain communal harmony.

Prashanta, being a true and undaunted Hindu, refused to act in line with the police officer and said clearly, “Pavan putra Hanuman may appear as an eyesore to the local Muslims but in our family, He is our revered family deity and we respect Him supremely; As part of our religious freedom and right, we installed the statue on my place, on my residence. I did not illegally occupy any body's land and install it”. The defiant language incensed the O.C. so much that he had no option other than giving an ultimatum "Either you cover the statue or remove it immediately otherwise I will be pressing criminal charges against you.”

But this strong language failed to perturb Prashanta (even) who went on saying "I will not remove the statue because this deity is on my property and I have, as a citizen, every right to put anything on my property and no body can stop me doing that.”

And the situation has been hazardous for the Das family. Muslims, in the neighborhood, have never missed an opportunity to harass the Hindu family (women in particular) or to defile the holy deity of Bajrangbali. Meanwhile, the Das family has left no stone unturned to contact various echelons of the Bengal administration but the fate remains same as changes in political dimension do not entail end in Muslim appeasement. And owing to the best efforts of Bengal administration to retain secular character of the state (Muslim pacification in effect), local police remains too feeble to adopt strong measures against Islamic felons.

Prashanta Das made a formal complaint (General Diary) against ill-famed Muslim criminals like Kochi Sapui and Zakir Mallick (leading the campaign to uproot the holy deity) but a strong measure is yet to be adopted. Here is the General Diary. GDE No. is 1515 and it is dated 22 nd May, 2010.

Will it lead to a novel experimentation for another Pakistan?

There is simply no end to efforts of reigning Trinamool Congress-led Bengal government to exert its empathy towards minority Muslims in the state and the latest approach on its part, in this regard, happens to be the decision to make Urdu the second official language in the state. Guild, Bengal Government capitulate shamelessly

No physical appearance is needed any more; just the phone of any Islamic fanatic or fanatical organization is enough to stall the voyage of truth (unflinching criticism of Islamic notions and its consecrated viewpoints) in Kolkata.

Kolkata Book Fair, 2012 witnessed this development on February 01 disgracefully when Publishers and Booksellers’ Guild, chief organizer of the worldwide acclaimed Book Fair, citing hurt of minority sentiment and security reasons called official release of the seventh part of Taslima Nasrin’s autobiography, Nirbasan (Exile), a halt. Even if the People’s Book Society, publisher of the book, went on with the formal release near its stall and outside the official venue for book releases in the Fair defiantly, Guild’s capitulation to an anonymous threat has both demeaned and scourged sane minds in the cultural capital of India. Is this going to be the fate of whole Bengal soon? That such an apprehension is not baseless was proved when this worry was found to reverberate among people partaking in the Fair.

What did happen in reality? It has been learnt from Mr. Tridib Chatterjee, general secretary of the guild, members of an Islamic organization phoned him in the morning and giving vent to their anger against the release of Nirbasan (Exile) stated that it would disrupt communal harmony and none could be deemed responsible for any ‘untoward incident’, hence,. On the word of Jawed Shamim, Joint Commissioners (Headquarters), Kolkata Police, “An organization by the name of Twahad-e-Milli came to us and expressed their reservation against the official release of the book. We informed the Guild about this. But we did not ask the authority to stop the scheduled program.”

Who came to whom then? Who is truthful? Will the administration be considerate enough to let people know the reality ever? There shall not be any such and it can be said with conviction.

Here is another version from Mrs. Sibani Mukherjee, publisher of the book. She said, “Just a few hours before the program was to commence, we were told by the Guild that our booking has been cancelled.”

Taslima, in the wake of this incident, wrote on Twitter, “Kolkata Book Fair committee cancelled my book release program today at Kolkata Book Fair. Why? Some religious fanatics don’t want it to happen.”

The state government remains perfect in sustaining a weird silence in this regard but Mr. Idrish Ali, president, All India Minority Forum, detests concealing his views. As per him, “Our chief minister Mamata Banerjee does not want this book to get officially released if it hurts the sentiment of a community. She does not want a ruckus at the fair ground.” It must be noted, the same All India Minority Forum played a key role to hound out Taslima Nasrin from Kolkata on November 21, 2007. The organization created a bedlam in the city to oust the author; even if deployment of army finally saved the metropolis from turmoil, Taslima was expelled outright. And Mr. Idrish Ali’s role then was no less.

The issue may die down before long but the nemesis of Islamic fundamentalism, all set to bruise democratic institutions and right to freedom of speech, fortified more from now on, has become the hardest obstacle to the Indian democracy.

On the west (of the land) there happens to be the family of Debu Chakraborty, Bijan Dey on the east, Basudev Roy on the south-east along with that of Bidhan Haldar, Ramen Mandal, Gopal Dey, Gobinda Chakraborty, Tarun Dey and others. But the Muslim families, backed by Muslim groups in the environs, were not ready to negotiate at all and what started was nothing other than a new way (quite common too) of Islamic victimization.

Hindus did also inform the police and administration to save the situation but there was no response from them. Finding no other solution, Hindus geared up and smashed the makeshift structure of mosque for all time.

Hindu house bombed by Muslim thugs in Sankrail, Howrah

Sankrail, Howrah is becoming a hotbed of Hindu Muslim animosities and undoubtedly, fast rising Islamic fundamentalism happens to be the main cause in this regard. On January 31, the residence of Felu Sardar (age 45), inhabitant of Snakrail Battala, P.S. Sankrail, District: Howrah, was bombed by a few masked Muslim youths leading to destructions of the abode and injuries of Hindu family members residing in it. Even if almost all of them escaped in secret, Sabir Ali Sheikh, noted Muslim thug of the area, was identified by a few neighbors of Felu.

However, this was not a sudden assault but a part of retaliation. On January 26, Muslim members of Macha Committee, a club dominated by Muslims exclusively, hoisted the National Flag on a vacant land (in the same area) of same Felu Sardar. Later they were found to fence the very stretch of land devoid of any permission. Felu smelling a rat sought help of local Hindu youths and with their assistance removed the fence dashing hopes of Muslims to occupy the land soon.

The bomb attack at the residence of Felu Sardar happens to be fallout of the same despair.

Tension prevails in the area and Hindus are apprehending such more attacks in next to no time.

Hindu-Muslim clash over Saraswati Puja in Bagnan

Muslim misbehavior with Hindu girls sparked troubles

History is recurring; in the momentous days of 1940s celebration of Saraswati Puja turned out to be the greatest bone of contention between Hindus and Muslims. While Muslims, on no account, were ready to accept the same ever, Hindus were determined to do the same in any way – leading to riots in various parts of then undivided Bengal. A perilous reality has come to the fore in Bengal of late - it is a crime to support Hindu views and anyone who is ever found to endorse views of Hindu Samhati will be tortured cruelly (at any time). The scuffle initiated when Muslims tried to tear leaflets and banners and Hindus tried to stop them.

It has been learnt, a few Muslims were present there at the outset but they were joined by a large number of their co-religionists within the next few minutes. The entire operation was led by SUCI (political party known for its anti-Hindu activities for years), in accordance with villagers.

The brutally injured Hindus, as a result of Muslim savagery, include Biswajit Naskar, Buddhanath Gayen, Priyabhs Gayen, Jayanti Gayen, Madhusudhan Gayen, Siddhartha Gayen along with lots of others. police has already seized Biswajit Naskar, Buddhanath Gayen, and Priyabhs Gayen for interrogation.

Muslim thugs taking active part in the savagery are Rouf Ali, Hashem Fakir, Rahim Mir, Roichuddin Baidya, Abdullah Baidya, Echup Baidya, Yunus Gharami, Nurjamal Baidya, Mannan Mollah, Nurjaman Baidya, Farman Gharami. They were led by Nasir Sheikh, Ala Baidya and Rouf Ali. All are known as active SUCI workers in the neighborhood.

The police, true to its character, is acting as an ideal lapdog ever busy to sustain and preserve Muslim interest. FIR of Hindus is yet to be received.

Hindus in Kalyanpur persecuted brutally

Where is the civil society, champions of Human Rights now?

24 Paraganas (South) district in the Indian state of Bengal has become a Muslim-majority district virtually; each and every Hindu arena here is facing the brunt of mounting Islamic fundamentalism hence, and village: Kalyanpur, P.S. Mandirbazar has become its latest target. Sudipukur , a Muslim dominated village in its neighborhood, and its Muslim inhabitants have turned into its worst tormentors and on January 27, Friday, a hell (devised by the Islamic fundamentalists scrupulously) struck the Hindu village. Muslims, in large numbers, along with deadly weapons, entered Hindu residences to teach Hindus a lesson and along with plundering they molested a large number of Hindu women.

The question remains of the genesis behind such a violent Islamic eruption. Muslims of Sudipukur have been playing vicious ploys with Hindus of Kalyanpur for years, whether it is through striving to grab Hindu lands or harassing Hindu women in public or during their bathing in village ponds. Even after lots of requests from Hindus to stop all these, Muslim boys, enthused by their seniors, remain intransigent. And with the passing of each day, their audaciousness is increasing by leaps and bounds. They have started to make use of exclusive Hindu courtyard as passages creating disturbances for Hindu women in particular.

On January 27, Muslims, engaged in making a metal road, were using the same Hindu courtyards like before and to prevent it, at 10 am, Laxminath Sardar (age 24) asked them not to do this. After just 30 minutes of this a few Muslim boys came and asked Laxminath the reasons behind his argument and to know this better he was asked to have a chat of this with them. Little did he know that Muslims, no less than 250 in numbers, was waiting for him and once he went there, Muslims started beating him mercilessly. Hindu women tried desperately to save Laxminath but they were molested.

A few Hindu men who also tried best to save Laxminath were persecuted. They include Chandicharan Haldar (age 35), Tapas Sardar (age 24), Swarupananda Swami (age 62). Women who were molested and also tortured brutally include Aloka Haldar, Sandhya Haldar, Madhu Haldar, Kalpana Sardar, Angurbala Sardar, Madhabi Haldar (age 15). Madhabi was threatened to be raped. The persecution refuses to end – Muslims are going on with their warnings to kill Hindus of Kalyanpur en masse.

Bichitra Chandan Sardar, husband of Shibani Sardar, Head of local Panchayat, while mediating, was also brutally manhandled and beaten. While beating Muslims entered Hindu households to teach Hindus a lesson.

Hindus in Kalyanpur are living in abject condition, extreme fear. The local administration is yet to consider the brutal Hindu persecution.

Will this embark on a new era of Muslim appeasement in Bengal?

Whatever the efforts of newly elected Trinamool Congress-led government to appease Muslims in Bengal are, it is apparent that they have got to go a long way more as the Islamic leaders of the state, terming the government as uncooperative, are aggrieved yet!

Well, the statement may raise eyebrows of people of Bengal in general, miffed to witness mounting placatory stratagems of TMC to woo their Muslim compadres or buddies. But this has to be accepted as reality (who cares if you’re annoyed!) as none other than Fazlur Rehman, influential Muslim cleric in Bengal, has accused the government for being noncommittal and reluctant to better the community in the state. All these were witnessed on January 12, 2012 (Thursday) during the assemblage of All Bengal Minority Council and clerics there also stated candidly (in concert too) that MPs (Member of Parliament) of ruling coalition are busy in garnering bribes to authorize madrasas.

It is worthwhile to mention that on September 01, 2011 present Chief Minister of Bengal, Mamata Banerjee, stated distinctly in State Assembly that 90% of assurances given to Muslims had been completed within 100 days. But Fazlur Rehman is reluctant to accept the same and as per him, the governmental enterprise to resolve problems in Singur, Hilly tracts or even Jungle areas of the state are not being found in case of Muslims. The Islamic cleric, without respite, states Muslim votes (among each three voters in the state there is one Muslim individual) have played the greatest role in changing the political dimension in the state but they are being discarded at this point in time. The state government is not with them and hence, Muslims must group together to assert their claims.

Fazlur Rehman states, “The present government needs time and we will give it. But each and every movement will be scrutinized.” He has also said that madrasas suffered partisan stances in the Left regime which has increased majorly under this government.

Whether there is any fault can be assessed and rectified by the present Bengal government itself and this happens to be its constitutional privilege. But in no way an Islamic cleric can launch a veiled threat to any democratically elected government ever. Perhaps there is no such constitutional privilege for any Muslim cleric. How can this go on then and watched silently by the mainstream media refusing to miss any chance to malign organizations or individuals speaking of legitimate rights of Hindus altogether?

There is simply no match to this as Mamata Banerjee, reigning Chief Minister of Bengal, is firm to establish a minority department in every district along with a separate employment exchange for minorities in the state. But these can’t be done blatantly to develop one minority community while leaving others in the lurch. And the same is happening now; Muslims are being ameliorated one and only and nothing has been heard of other forms of minorities. Isn’t this an unblushing act of wooing Muslims for political gains?

Mamata Banerjee said all these at an occasion organized by West Bengal Minority Development Finance Corporation. During the event Corporation’s approaches to distribute loans and scholarship of Rs 68.64 crore to the students of minority communities were witnessed. The Chief Minister, also, made it clear that her government has the objective to dole out loans of Rs.415 crore in 2011-12 and there will not be any compromise in bettering minorities and stringent fiscal situation of the state government will not be an obstacle in any way.

Poor people get clothes and blankets

Humanitarian programs are being adopted by Hindu Samhati to better living conditions of plebeians in this winter and with this end in view, a blanket distribution program took place in Canning, District: 24 Paraganas (South) on January 14, 2012 , under the astute leadership of Sri Tapan Ghosh, president, Hindu Samhati. The entire program was conducted by the HS Canning committee, spearheaded by Dinabandhu Gharami, Sagar Halder, Prasenjit Halder, Swapan Mandal, Shyamal and others.

To make poorest people the only beneficiary of this approach (unlike programs of others) a painstaking survey was conducted in the neighboring villages for a few days by the HS Canning committee and only after all these very poor people from 10 villages were selected. While clothes were given to young girls, especially, others got blankets. Records do confirm that 90 blankets and 50 churidars (Indian dress for women) were distributed in total.

Persons who adorned the occasion included Sri Sambhu Dayal Agarwal, his wife, Sri Tapan Ghosh, Sneha Naskar, Soma Halder and Kajal Sai.

When on earth Hindus there objected, Muslims warned them of dire consequences and said that Hindus would go through the same fate before long. BDO proposed to fence the entire area; Muslims nodded and Hindus also did the same to have tranquility soon. Little did the Hindus realize that the same would turn into a pyrrhic victory in a while.

The fencing has already started and Hindu lands are being absorbed thus.

However, Hindu Samhati, though informed and hence appeared lately, is keeping a close watch on the entire happening and thus, Hindus are getting stimulated.

Hindu Samhati struggles vigorously to end cow smuggling across border area in Bangaon

Cattle smuggling across the Indo-Bangladesh border, especially in the Bangaon area, is in full swing and with each day it passes, its intensity is rising by leaps and bounds and without doubt, the silence of BSF, compelled by the weird instruction of the Union Government to not to fire a single shot come what may, is highly culpable to boost the illegal trade. The Local Head, in no way, can steer clear of her responsibilities where cattle smuggling and destruction of crops in consequence has become a regular affair.

It is a desperate way to have supports of Islamic community in Bengal through sacrificing Hindu interests. Where will the necessary money come from? Money doesn’t fall from heaven; general developments, without doubt, will be compromised to fulfill the noble (?) promise to placate Muslims in Bengal.

Has the Bengal government adopted any plan to better Hindus exclusively? The answer is NO; it will be regarded as a blemish on the saga of Secularism or simply a breach.

Hindu Samhati battles Islamic design to belittle Kali temple in Baruipur, emerges victorious

This is the story of a Kali temple, located in the village of Ramnagar, P.S. Baruipur, District: 24 Paraganas (South) and how it was impeded thanks to a nasty Islamic design and recovered later only due to the desperate struggles of Hindu Samhati activists. Undoubtedly, Hindu Samhati is becoming a major force in Bengal to represent, sustain and fight for the Hindu interest.

The Kali temple is stationed in the Ramnagar market and even a few days back a vacant land existed alongside the venerated place of worship. A piece of land there amounting to 8ft x 2ft was sold by the Hindu landowner to a Muslim businessman. Without wasting time, the Muslim businessman made a shop, erected a wall leaving a narrow way equaling 1 ft. in breadth to enter the temple. Hindus in the neighborhood raised lots of objection and some even personally tried to convince the businessman but he preferred to shrug off all these. All these happened on January 3, 2011 leaving the Hindu environs fuming. Nevertheless, Hindus didn’t harm him physically.

The tension was on the rise and when all efforts to make the Muslim businessman comprehend the reality failed completely, local Hindu Samhati committee was informed. HS activists arrived there in groups on January 5 and tried to convince in the past manner. But the narrow-mindedness and insolence of the Muslim entrepreneur tuned out to be unbearable gradually and HS activists, at last, started breaking the wall.

Sensing gravity of the situation local political parties including Trinamool Congress (TMC) and CPIM intervened and requested Hindu Samhati to partake in a meeting. Investigations have confirmed that Mujibar, a worker in the Jari industry, feigned as Dibakar Halder over phone and slowly a relationship grew up between him and innocent Dipika. Mujibar was helped by Firoze Sardar and Tambir Sheikh to get hold of Dipika.

Without doubt, family of Dipika, especially her father Dilip Halder, was in darkness of the entire incident and the hell came down on them only on December 05, 2011, the day when Dipika was last seen. Ankita Mandal, Hindu woman of 19 years, had a love affair with Salauddin Gazi, Muslim guy of 28 years, 4 years ago that resulted to marriage daring all religious differences but little did she know then that her life would come to an abrupt end and the assassin would be none other than her better half. Aditi, her younger daughter informed, the moment she went for the police station, Salauddin and Ankita entered into a bitter squabble and Ankita was thrashed inhumanly once more. Salauddin had a sharp knife within his apparel and with it he chopped up Ankita and fled.

Police has found a chopper, believed to be Salauddin’s murder weapon, from the area. On the word of Kankarprasad Barui, Additional Police Super – District: 24 Paraganas (South), huntings are going on to find Salauddin out. Two brothers of Salauddin, alleged to be accomplices, have been picked up.

It is worthwhile to mention, a portion of the index finger of her left hand was severed because she desperately tried to prevent Mohammad Chotu from attacking her. Mohammad Chotu is a worker in a bindi-making factory and lives in the same locality and as per people in the neighborhood, he was making lots of efforts to talk to Ritu for the past few days. As stated by Lalita, sister of Ritu, Chotu took the opportunity of absence of male members in the residence who are in Bihar for the time being.

The opposite took place wholeheartedly throughout the state – somewhere with the tacit support of the administration while at other places with the direct backing of the government and what did take place at village: Chotochandpur, P.S. 1 Hindu boy, after almost 20 minutes, became able to flee and rushed to the procession of 3-Star Club. When Hindus learnt the happening, they chased the Muslim attackers who fled in fear. Nevertheless, some of them were caught at last and were thrashed as a mark of protest. 1 Muslim shop, belonging to a Muslim owner who tried to save the attackers, located at Fort Gloster was also vandalized. It was at that time a few Muslim boys of National Society Club came forth and attacked Hindu boys resulting into a fighting between the two groups. But since more and more Hindus in the locality joined the Hindu force, Muslims were overpowered soon and they had now way other than to retreat.

All these happened before O.C. of P.S. Bauria and he was found to witness the Hindu valor without a sound.

It has been learnt that the entire incident took place at Mission Road where Nagmela (conducted in24 Paraganas (South) only) is in full swing. As per witnesses, the motorcycle collided with a motor van (coming from the opposite direction) and as a result, a revolver (hidden in the waist of one of 3 riders) fell on the ground. The abrupt appearance of a revolver stirred the entire area and the vehicle was encircled by a large gathering in a short while. When the other two riders were searched, revolvers were found with them also making the crowd there panic-struck.

The local police was phoned; all three riders were manhandled and handed over to the police force only after that. Why were they carrying revolvers? It is not known yet even if they were called to Kakdwip by a person named Ayub (revealed at the time of being thrashed by the aforesaid mob).

Hindu gallantry in Durbarat stops cow slaughter, admonishes secular political leaders

This is not a mere news only but a report also; if the reader goes through this meticulously, he/she can find out with ease that intense Hindu feeling and valor can also change the course of history, even in the lowest stratum of the society. The news orbits the village of Durbarat, P.S. Falta, District: 24 Paraganas (South) and to begin with, situation in Gobindabati, adjoining village of Durbarat, must be taken into consideration. On the very last year, the village of Gobindabati, like the erstwhile years, witnessed slaughtering of cows. Well, Muslims of Durbarat did not dare to perform cow slaughter in the village and hence, Gobindabati was the only choice of them for decades. Desire of Muslims in Durbarat to slaughter cows in the village started to know no bounds.

Smelling a rat this year, the local administration, two weeks prior to Bakri –Eid or Eid-ul-Zaha, convened a meeting to retain normalcy. It was attended by 4 members representing each of Hindu and Muslim groups along with Sri Tamonash Ghosh, MLA – Falta, and several other dignitaries. The decision of the meeting was definite – instead of slaughtering of cows slaughtering of goats and buffaloes would take place.

Muslims, present in the meeting, agreed to this without any dissension; Hindu representatives, being bribed, also did the same even if the majority opinion among Hindus, in the village of Durbarat, was just the reverse. They were not ready to accept any form slaughter in the village. Taking strong exceptions to the 4 Hindu representatives, Hindu populace in the village submitted mass petition along with the photocopy of recent High Court order to call cow slaughter a halt to the SDO, SDPO, P.S. Falta.

Even so, in spite of all these, slaughter of goat and buffalo took place in the village irking Hindus extremely. The entire Hindu community, as a result, burst into protest. It is worthwhile to mention that Tamonash Ghosh, aforesaid MLA and Manabendra Mandal, both of Trinamool Congress, were present during the slaughter and it is alleged that both of them were perceived to stimulate Muslims to go on with the slaughter, enough to enrage Hindus.

Tension, to a large extent, does exist in the village of Durbarat still and to defuse the same, large contingents of RAF are stationed in the village. Police is patrolling the village and its environs day in and day out and this has become a ritual by now.

As a reaction, number of Hindu youths also increased and by the evening 700 Muslims were vis-à-vis 3, 000 Hindu youths. To steer clear of any crisis, police personnel of two police stations, Uluberia and Bauria, did intervene and the meeting between Hindus and Muslims presided over by police officers went on for hours till 11 pm in the night. But there was no solution and at last, to avert any communal tension, the Puja was stopped without heeding Hindu viewpoints. Ironically, police personnel were Hindus but they had to conform to the reigning political mainstream’s minority appeasement policy.

What was the reason behind all these? In a few words, a Muslim graveyard exists alongside the Hindu crematorium and it happened to be the mainstay of Muslim objection. However, no precise reason was cited ever.

This is surely not the only instance. Why don’t you ask members of “Jagrihi Club” at Boulkhai Sepahipara, Bauria of their tragic experiences? The club just desired to wall the club premises along with a small Kali temple beside it but it is still a dream thanks to the presence of a small Muslim graveyard by its side. A few Muslims of the area, aided by coreligionists from other areas, are preventing it with all their might. The administration, as usual, is confused and yet to adopt any perfect step (in this regard) yet.

Here is another incident of abduction of a Hindu girl, an episode getting common increasingly across the Indian state of Bengal with each day it passes. Ms. Chaitali Haldar (age 15), daughter of Sri Utpal Haldar (age 47), s/o Sri Jitendranath Haldar, resident of Joynagar Sardarpara, P.S. Panchla, Dist. Howrah, has been missing from October 06, 2011 and from the very beginning presence of a Islamic handiwork in the episode was suspected; later developments confirmed the same only.

It is to be noted that Chaitali Haldar happens to be the third one among all five daughters of Sri Haldar and is a student of Class XIII at Joynagar Pallishree Vidyaniketan (educational institution). She, on the fateful day, went to perceive Vijaya Dashami of Durga Puja (grand immersion of deity conforming to Hindu religious rituals) at Ranihati Amtabere, P.S. Panchla and has never returned thus far. There is a question too – does any missing case of a Hindu girl imply Islamic deed always.

No – but it this case there were some other facts as well. Rajiv Khan (age 22), s/o Saifuddin Khan, inhabitant of Kandua Khanpara, P.S. Sankrail, worked at Utpal’s residence as manual laborer for 2 weeks (at a stretch) till Id-ul-Fiter (August 31, Wednesday) and during this period, an affinity grew up between the two. Elder sisters of Chaitali also noticed this and owing to their insistence, job of Rajiv Khan was called a halt abruptly.

When Utpal (having this idea) went to Ranihati Amtabere at dead night to find her daughter out, he, accordingly, asked of the presence of any such person (like Rajiv) in the area at the time of immersion. Soon it got cleared to him that Rajiv Khan – s/o Saifuddin Khan, along with Salim Khan – s/o Saifuddin Khan, Amir Khan – s/o Surabdin (Rashid) Khan, Meheraj Khan – s/o Siraj Khan, Suraj Khan – s/o Siraj Khan, Sher Khan – s/o Mahinuddin Khan, Surabdin (Rashid) Khan, Siraj Khan and Mahinuddin Khan, had already been present there and the entire gang, comprising young and old, led Chaitali astray and abducted her at last. Rajiv Khan feigned that he was in love with Chaitali.

On October 07, 2011, at 08.10 am, a phone call from mobile no, 9143310145, came to the cell phone no. 9903237439 of Sri Utpal Haldar. A strange and unknown voice demanded Rs. 50, 000 as ransom money (to return Chaitali). To make the call more authentic, Chaitali was made speak in the phone – she did the same shedding tears desperately. She also stated that in case of any failure to pay Rajiv would simply chop her. The demand for such a huge sum along with possible fallout (in case of any failure) was just a shell shock for such a hard-up family, if not more.

But Utpal could manage to ask her of the location she was talking from – the phone was disconnected just then. Afterward, lots of other calls came from different phone numbers of abductors to an assortment of phone numbers belonging to relatives and friends of Utpal – he was asked to go to Kolaghat, from there to Mecheda – Tamluk and lastly Digha. The helpless father did all carrying the same amount of Rs. 50, 000 but Chaitali was found nowhere.

Finding no other option Sri Utpal Haldar, in the end, went to P.S. Panchla to lodge a missing diary (No. 347 dtd. 08/10/11). Another FIR, containing complains of abduction and ransom, especially against aforementioned Islamic felons, was lodged on October 08, 2011, GD no. 363/P.S. – Panchla – dtd. 09/10/11, Case No. 329/11 – dtd. 09/10/11 u/s – 363/365/34 IPC.

However, nothing has improved after this even. On October 16, 2011 around 04.30 pm an anonymous voice called Utpal’s friend (at his number) and threatened the family for approaching the police station and warned of murdering Chaitali before long too. Police is yet to adopt any effective step to nab the culprits (before it gets late) and the helpless father is running from pillar to post seeking justice.

Grievous incident in Kulpi, October 24, 2011, stems from deep-rooted anti-Hindu prejudice

It has become far-flung by now how a mob of riotous Muslims, carrying all sorts of lethal weapons, virtually called local administration on the carpet and destroyed BDO (Block Development Office) and Kulpi police station in the Indian state of Bengal, posing a grave challenge to the constitutional predominance on October 24, 2011. While a few prefer to term it as a local feud, the majority of Hindus, in spite of being knowledgeable of the real intention of murderous Muslims but also helpless owing to absence of security, is maintaining a creepy silence. It is to be noted that the attack was not abrupt but the fallout of an idea conceived some days before. Reason?

On October 14, 2011, immersion of deity of Goddess Lakshmi was going on in the village of Rajarampur, P.S. Kulpi under the leadership of Balak Sangha of Dakshinpara and more than 100 Hindus were present on the occasion. At the same time, a good number of Muslims from the neighboring village of Raghunathpur (dominated by Muslims) came along and demanded both money and alcohol in lieu of letting Hindus pass through the village safely. But Hindus refused right away; Muslim crooks, in return, warned Hindus of dire consequences before long. To steer clear of any disturbance, Hindus informed Mahamaya Sangha, local club of Hindus, for help. Muslims fled as a result.

On October 16, 2011 (Sunday) immersion of Goddess Lakshmi’s deity, of Jubak Sangha Haldarpara, was going on at 11.30 pm. Muslims, involved with the disturbance on October 14, 2011 in Rajarampur, was also present here; dancing to the tunes of Hindi film songs and making lewd advances to Hindu girls watching the procession. They got so wild eventually that it was no longer possible to complete the holy immersion conforming to Hindu rituals and traditions. To save the fast deteriorating situation, Hindus asked Muslims to leave the area which they considered as an insult.

The chain of Muslim reaction (ending with destruction of BDO office and P.S. Kulpi) started following this incident. A Hindu boy of Balak Sangha, who was also present in the immersion procession of Jubak Sangha Haldarpara, while returning to his home, was seized by Muslims and was thrashed severely. His mother, as he was near to his residence, identified and made desperate efforts to save him; she was molested. When members of Jubak Sangha Haldarpara were informed of the grievous incident, they just rushed to the spot and saved the victims. A few Islamic hoodlums, responsible for torturing the Hindu family, were found out soon and were beaten hollow.

The entire incident had a disastrous effect on the neighborhood but immersion completed somehow. Nevertheless, a few pebbles, in the meantime, were thrown to several other Hindu villages in the environs.

On October 17, 2011, Hindus, office goers, were being tortured from the early morning. A rowdy Islamic mob was simply not enabling them to pass through main road of the area. The police force from P.S. Kulpi arrived there at 10 am and owing to the administrative intervention, the blockade was withdrawn. On October 19, 2011 a meeting between Hindus and Muslims (5 members representing each group) took part in a round table with the police but no decision could be reached.

The rest – what did happen on October 24, 2011 is a history. We are well aware of it.

Hindu Samhati activists foil nasty Islamic design to disrupt Durga Puja in Jhinki

Hindu fate is getting vulnerable to Islamic antagonism more and more, with each day it passes; every new grievous incident proves unless Hindus become virile combatants, a permanent void does exist before them only. Days are getting tougher without doubt; even simplest instances are being exploited for Hindu-baiting. Jhinki (Karimabad) village of Mohanpur No. 1 Village Panchayat, Dist. 24 Paraganas (South), West Bengal, witnessed such on October 05, 2011 (Wednesday), following a Kabaddi tournament organized to mark the consecrated occasion of Sri Sri Durga Puja.

It was a one-day long tournament on the whole and was participated by both Hindu and Muslim Kabaddi teams in the environs; to be watched by hundreds of other Muslims.

As the sporting competition progressed, serious confrontations or wrangles regarding rules and regulations of Kabaddi started to get common between Hindu and Muslim teams increasingly. To bring the rising disputes to a halt, the organizing committee of the tournament thought it wise to intervene. At that juncture, a few Muslim youths, certainly to defy any approach to rein in the mounting confrontations that had started to vitiate the religious atmosphere already, were witnessed to barge in the area of Puja.

Within a fraction of a second, Muslim hooligans attacked Hindu womenfolk there, defiled sanctity in the environment and also destroyed a few utensils meant for the Puja along with a portion of the pandal.

Thanks to proactive methods of Hindu Samhati activists present there, Muslim hooligans were defeated within the next few minutes; they were disseminated. Local administration intervened later on and with its active help the next part of the program was completed.

It is needless to say, had there been no Hindu Samhati activist, it would have been more than impossible to rein in Muslim felons, present there to disrupt a Hindu religious affair cold-heartedly.

Fierce Muslim mob persecutes Hindus at North Radhanagar railway station, Mograhat

Hindus struggling tooth and nail

If I have power, every wrong is right – is this the latest Islamic slogan in Bengal? There are enough reasons to raise this question; fast changing postures of Muslim youths, especially their mounting aggressiveness is unleashing hell only across the state and the grievous incident on October 06, 2011 at North Radhanagar railway station, P.S. Mograhat, Dist. 24 Paraganas (South) exemplifies this reality best. What did happen in the station?

A minor Hindu boy, to maintain his livelihood, sells pure drinking water in the railway station and on the very day (October 06, 2011) he was in his shop as usual. Around 10.00 am a Muslim youth came to the shop to have water but after drinking he declined to pay any money citing the water was both hot and not up to standard. But the minor Hindu boy had no other option; he went on asking for the money. His recurrent pleas disturbed the Muslim youth a lot who in return thrashed him highly.

Sandipan Mandal, hardcore Hindu Samhati activist, was present there and owing to his fierce protest the minor Hindu boy got saved. The Muslim boy fled (in fear) from the station only to return with around 50 Muslim youths, carrying lethal weapons, from neighboring Muslim-dominated village of Shyampur, soon. Taking advantage of absence of local Hindus (engaged with their own professions), the fierce Muslim mob beat Sandipan and other Hindus in the railway station hollow.

A few Muslims came forward to compromise but the other group instantly started hurling bombs at the North Radhanagar railway station; all fled in fear of life. Well, this was not the end. A few Hindu shops including drinking water shop of Ranjit Sardar, fruit shop of Rabin Haldar, betel leaf (paan) shop of Nandarani Seal were ransacked. They were also tromped; railway ticket counter was destroyed even and money was looted. A few Hindu women were molested too; not to speak of abusing Hinduism by Muslim hoodlums.

Intensity of the situation compelled local police to step in before long and officers asked both parties to make a compromise without delay. It became obvious that the police was not ready to heed any complaint of Hindus, many of whom were beaten heavily, even. A strong unity grew up among Hindus (without further ado) to deal with the situation and thanks to it, Hindus, unanimously, declined to make any compromise, synonymous to stimulating Islamic Jihad.

Hindus, later in the day, went to P.S. Mograhat to submit an application to Officer-in-Charge there to nab culprits and find out illegal weaponry in the neighborhood. But they had strange experiences there! Not the O.C. declined to accept the application only but was witnessed to admonish both Sanjay Haldar and Kartik Mandal, youths leading Hindus, also.

Hindus in the area are aggrieved and are not ready to make any single compromise.

Hindu Samhati youths punish Muslim troublemakers in Mograhat

On October 05, 2011, a Kabaddi competition took place in village Karimabad of Jhinki, P.S. Mograhat, Dist: 24 Paraganas (South) and it was joined by large numbers of Hindu and Muslim youths from several villages in the neighborhood.

While the competition was in full swing, a few Muslim youths were perceived to make derogatory comments of hallowed Hindu deities and religious rituals too. What is more, some of them were even rejoicing over the beheading of Hindu deities in neighboring village of Madhavpur; the incident took place on September 27, 2011 – the day of Mahalaya.

The situation was enough to enrage active Hindu Samhati workers present in the field; they got hold of two Muslim youths, identified already to slang Hindu Gods, and thrashed them highly. What happened next was indeed amazing! All Muslim bad hats fled within just a few seconds and the competition went on.

Hindus present in the feeling cheered Hindu Samhati youths and thanked them also.

No Muslim crook has dared to lodge a protest in the local police station even.

GRP office ransacked in Bauripur for questioning suspect Muslim youth

Has any order been enacted that announces every Muslim as a free individual in India? The question is asked witnessing mounting arrogance among Muslim youths these days, especially in Bengal, who (apparently) are considering themselves as free individuals or those who can’t be controlled by any state agency ever. What can be the other justification of the incident at Baruipur, suburb railway station, Dist: 24 Paraganas (South) of late? The gruesome incident took place on October 03, 2011 – the day of Maha Saptami of Durga Puja and all these happened since a GRP (Government Railway Police) police officer dared to check a Muslim youth on grounds of suspicion.

In accordance with witnesses, the Muslim youth was roaming freely in the Baruipur railway station but his frantic attitude and also mode of walking was enough to raise suspicion within any sane individual, let alone any police officer. While he was questioning the Muslim youth (giving the cold shoulder quite arrogantly), a rumor spread in the locality that he was being manhandled by railway police.

A large group of Muslim youths, having hockey sticks and iron rods as well, were found to rush into the railway station within next few seconds and got ready to beat the GRP person black and blue. Opportune arrival of a few police persons saved him but the youths vented their anger (due to inability to thrash the officer) by ransacking the GRP office.

There has not been any arrest yet and as per local people, police, owing to political pressures, has not adopted any measure even to nab the thugs involved in the pillage.

Strong, aggressive Hindu approach teaches Muslim thugs lesson in Gangasagar

Islamic religious persecutions on Hindus in the Indian state of Bengal are rising by leaps and bounds and one more incident with each day it passes proves the same horrendous episode more conspicuously. But if the same Hindus remain united and firm to teach Islamic felons a lesson, the reverse does take place without doubt and Ghona Jana’s, a Hindu youth, defiance, struggle along with other Hindus and victory over Muslim felons in Gangasagar, P.S. Gangasagar, authenticates it. Gangasagar, known across the globe for Sagar mela (fair), is positioned on the continental shelf of Bay of Bengal, about 150 km south of Kolkata.

On September 23, 2011in the evening a Muslim individual named Rashid telephoned Ghona and it was a wrong call on his part. When Ghona declined to talk to any such unknown person Rashid slanged him vehemently and Ghona also abused him in return. But any such insult (out of the blue) was unbearable for Ghona and hence, he called Rashid once more. Wife of Rashid, instead of him, picked up the phone and she was lambasted heavily. When Rashid was informed of all these, he, without further ado, reported to Ghona’s elder brother, who assured him to pacify the heated episode. Little did he know that Rashid was planning to teach Ghona a lesson.

On September 25, 2011 Rashid, during noon, got hold of Ghona in the Hindu village and thrashed him black and blue. As a reaction to this, Hindus in the area flogged Rashid also and any other Muslim who came forward to save him. Rashid got rescued only thanks to the timely intervention of aged Muslims, containing Muslim leader of his village too.

On September 27, 2011 a general meeting took place to restrain the rising animosity that had started to sour Hindu-Muslim harmony in the village too. Perhaps this was the first time when the Muslim village and its environs witnessed such a brawny, aggressive Hindu approach. Scores of members of both communities participated in the meeting but Hindus outnumbered Muslims. The same strong Hindu fervor was witnessed in the meeting as well and this was best expressed when Hindus unanimously accused Rashid of slanging, beating Ghona and also coming to the Hindu village intentionally.

Perceiving Hindu rage, village jurists found it wise to end the meeting. Muslims asked for forgiveness and also gave Rs. 500 to Ghona for his treatment.

A great victory indeed for the moribund Bengali Hindus (overall) and surely Hindus in Gangasagar have set a great instance, appreciable and exemplary.

Hindu Deities’ heads severed in Moukhali, Mograhat

Bengal has witnessed lots of developments of late – a historic transition of power, fast deterioration of Left power supplanted by the meteoric rise of rightwing politics, headed by Trinamool Congress. But Hindus are left in the lurch still and it seems with each day it passes, Hindus are getting more vulnerable to most raging attacks of their adversaries, in particular Islamic fundamentalists. If not, how can incidents of severing heads of Hindu deities be on the rise? What has happened in village Moukhali, P.S. Mograhat, Dist.: 24 Paraganas (South) is just the same. Heads of large deities of Shani Dev and Kali Mata in the local temple were found severed on 27.09.11 night.

Moukhali, not far from Kolkata, remains at strange situation. While the village is dominated by Hindus and shares a good relation with adjoining Hindu areas, it is at loggerheads with the Muslim villages on its eastern side. Muslims do share the same thoroughfare but antagonism between the two communities refuses to end. Prior to the said incident thefts in local temples had taken place and several Muslim neighbors were taken into custody in this regard. So, in this time too Hindus of Moukhali smell a rat.

It’s worthwhile to mention that heads of two other small deities have also been severed. But while these two are still prominent in the temple, police was quick enough to immerse the larger deities of Shani Dev and Kali Mata to the nearby pond.

Police is trying to paint the entire incident in the color of intra-village feud to maintain harmony but villagers are terming this as a work of Muslim felons steadfastly. Past experiences prove that their assertions hold water.

Tension prevails in the village.

Muslim mob runs amok in Behala, Kolkata

Is this only future?

It’s the time for the reader to go through the following story before anything.

On September 22, 2011 at a place called Janakalyan in Behala Chowrasta, Kolkata, at 10.30 am in the morning a Muslim individual, of age 52 years, on a scooter, was going to drop off his daughter to the school. While he was returning from the school an auto-rickshaw knocked him down and it is alleged that he was in a pool of blood on the road for almost next 2 hrs. As per witnesses, none did help him; police ambulance refused to take him to the hospital and the police did not frame the rickshaw driver.

He was taken to a nearby hospital and was admitted. The Muslim individual succumbed to death in the evening on September 23, 2011and while returning from the burial ground, his in-laws and friends, almost 200, blockaded Behala Chowrasta (crossing of 4 avenues) at 10.30 pm. They also ransacked a few shops along with 12 auto-rickshaws. All these led to clashes between them and Hindu rickshaw drivers.

A large police contingent including RAF went to disperse the violent groups; they were lathi-charged too and situation calmed down by 11.20 pm. However, from around 11.30 pm Hindu rickshaw drivers started blockading the same crossing demanding arrests of Muslims and clashed with police repeatedly.

Police assured Hindus to nab the Muslim felons fast and only then Hindus called the blockade a halt.

However, there has not been any single approach yet, let alone arrest of any Muslim rowdy.

The aforementioned single incident has brought to the fore lots of issues at the same instant. Without doubt, the tragic death of the Muslim individual was most unfortunate and such a public apathy to any fatally injured person is completely unacceptable and must be condemned. But that does not enable Muslims to get amuck, hold the administration to ransom and destruct vehicles, shops of innocent people and thus conduct pillage or plundering to express their rage. Was the ire more for Behala being a Hindu bastion?

Even if the Islamic tirade this time was no match to the one that Kolkata witnessed during the Muslim fundamentalists-led drive for expulsion of Taslima Nasrin on November 21, 2007 and surely any alleged secularist would love to say that protests of 200 people at best is minimal, Behala incident proved that this would be the future of Kolkata before long, if unchecked. And the greatest casualty would be the Bengal administration, yet to ascertain extent of Hindu virility fully.

Has the administration forgotten that any action begets same form of reaction?

What has come to the fore owing to brief yet violent clashes between Hindus and Muslims is that Hindu strength does exist still and among Bengali Hindus, considered by many as too non-martial.

It’ll also be judicious for Bengal administration to note that Hindu notion of struggle is not similar to that of Haqqani network. While it remains unvoiced at times, a genuine flare up may occur within fractions of a second. And the sole reason behind this is that a Hindu considers – it is humane to forget and forgive, it is divine to resist and repay – as being propounded by Hindu Dharma from time immemorial.

Civil war, after all, is neither desirable nor amiable.

Lord Vishwakarma deity destroyed in Howrah

Munshirhat village, highly disturbed these days owing to mounting Islamic muscle-flexing and their nefarious attitude to inhibit Hindus all the time, P.S. Jagatballavpur, Dist. Howrah, witnessed an unforeseen development on September 20, 2011. And it was the destruction of deity of Lord Vishwakarma by Muslims while Hindus in the environs were readying for its immersion.

Vishwakarma Puja was organized by Hindu rickshaw, cycle van drivers on September 18, 2011; the Puja led to a great enthusiasm in the area and was attended by Hindus from far-off areas as well.

The ominous incident took place on September 20, 2011in the evening when the whole area was gripped by load-shedding. Taking advantage of the situation, Muslim miscreants vandalized the deity and Hindus became aware of the episode only when electricity was restored. What did take place later on was a great resentment among Hindus but there was no verbal expression of it out of fear. Such is the situation in Munshirhat village at the moment.

What made Hindus get silent even after this crime? It was for no one other than the presence of Faruq Mallik, deputy-head of Shankarhati No. 1 Panchayat, influential leader of People’s Democratic Conference of India (PDCI), headed by Siddiquallah Chowdhury, in the disputed area. PDCI, known for its strong Islamic position, enjoys a well position in the area.

Faruq Mallik informed the police and under leadership of both the damaged deity, better to say its parts, were immersed in a nearby pool. Hindus, being panic-stricken, have not been able to lodge any formal complaint to the police station yet.

Simonti’s own harrowing account – how she was persecuted by her Muslim boyfriend-turned-husband and his family

This is neither any news nor any fiction but the heartrending truth of a young girl – well-bred, highly educated, jovial, hailing from an affluent and decent Hindu family – Simonti (name changed), from Kolkata, who became an easy prey to Love Jihad and how her life was wrecked while she remained subservient in an alien, Islamic environment. What is Love Jihad then? It’s an illegal activity, conducted under aegis of Islamic bigots, where a few Muslim boys target college girls belonging to non-Muslim communities, especially Hindu, for conversion to Islam by shamming love. The movement that started in Kerala and Mangalore has reached the shores of Kolkata too. And Simonti’s harrowing experience is an eye opener.

What is described below is not to depict hatred to any individual but to make Hindu girls cautious of the fate any inter religious relationship. May Simonti’s destiny make them have a second thought prior to get into a Hindu-Muslim love relation.

Simonti is the second daughter of her parents and hence, there was no dearth of love for her in the family. She, hence, had a good education in a prominent English medium school of the metropolis, scored good marks in exams and got admitted to a prestigious college in the morning section. Well, the morning section had an uncanny phenomenon; it was dominated by Muslims students altogether and as a result, Simonti came across a few Muslim friends before long.

It was at this time Simonti was introduced to Mohammed Zafar (name changed) through a female friend of her. Zafar introduced himself as a businessman with high aspirations and this was enough to impress a naïve girl like her (ignorant of Hindu fate in a Muslim household). Life was going on as usual but all changed in the 1 st week of April, 2004. Without doubt, Simonti had become somewhat soft to him, thanks to his courteous behavior and their frequent meetings in parks and restaurants, and gradually it led to love. Taking advantage of this, on one fine morning, Zafar came to her college and said that it was no longer possible for him to live without her. And if she wasn’t ready to marry him, he would commit suicide.

The situation was quite perplexing for Simonti and when she said that she was not prepared for the same, Zafar said categorically in that case he would reveal the love affair to her parents (Zafar, as a Muslim youth, was confident that such a relation was beyond acceptance to Simonti’s family). It’s to be noted that Simonti’s parents were already informed of the development and that's why, she was cautioned. However, indeed, on that day Zafar’s words of committing suicide while returning from the college unless Simonti accepted him and his weeping (portraying his desperation) frightened her a great deal. This was, in reality, a play but it wasn’t possible for Simonti to comprehend any such attitude. She was all alone under the sun.

So, exploiting her perilous situation, Zafar took her to Bankshal Court and forced her to get converted to Islam there – Simonti, as a result, got a new name, Jannat Begum. After that she was taken to Tipu Sultan Mosque in Kolkata and Zafar’s brother Akram was already there. Zafar asked the Moulavi there for marriage; there was a need of three witnesses to do it but all were arranged in a lightening speed, indicating the conspiracy to woo and convert a Hindu girl was hatched earlier. But it was not possible for Simonti alias Jannat Begum to understand it. She was then asked by Zafar to phone her father. Well, she wasn’t ready at all but was compelled to do so. And the Hindu family’s reaction in any such circumstance needs no more mentioning. She was castigated heavily by her parents.

Simonti or Jannat was then taken to Zafar’s house, located in Narkeldanga, an infamous slum area of Kolkata. This is enough to prove what the main intention behind such type of courtship remains. Zafar’s family, strikingly, remained normal and Simonti was addressed coldly. But since it was not safe for the Muslim family to keep the couple in the house secretly, they were promptly sent to Hyderabad on the very next day. Berths were already reserved! And Simonti perceived that Zafar was being given a good amount of money by his own brother to manage upcoming expenses. They were sent to Zafar’s aunt’s house in Hyderabad.

It was then that Simonti witnessed a complete reversal in Zafar’s attitude. He, in a stern voice, in the railway compartment, asked her to conform to Islamic rituals and learn and start everything as soon as possible. Reason? Zafar said that Simonti was from a Kafir family after all!

What did happen in Hyderabad? Zafar’s cousin was in the station to receive the couple and he was seen to congratulate Zafar for attaining such a great success – wooing and converting a Hindu girl – regarded as one of the prime activities of Muslims.

Both Zafar and Simonti were accepted in the house cordially and they stayed there for 10 days at a stretch. During the stay, Zafar asked her day in and day out, at times harshly, to remain as a good Muslim bride and the same was done by other members of his aunt’s family, including women. Whatever it is, during the stay she was not physically beaten that started once she came back to Kolkata. This entire episode (stay in Hyderabad) was indeed a drama to diffuse the tension in consequence of the inter-religion marriage.

A great change took place after their return. Contrary to the first time, Simonti at this time was put in a utterly inhospitable environment. Not the room was dirty only but it was not fit for stay of a married couple also. But she had no choice. She was forced to do all household jobs (nearly unbelievable in her own house) including cleaning and cooking for the whole family. And just after a month she found that Zafar had lied to her of everything, his family and his own occupation. What she found was that Zafar was unemployed, never had any business and had great inclination to sexual excesses.

But Simonti was the last person to lose hope. She started to apply for jobs and after a while she got one night-shift job. Simonti was permitted to do it on condition that she would submit Rs. 3, 000 to the family per month. Simonti found it as a bargain for short independence. This was too essential for her as by that time she became an easy prey to all forms of mental and physical tortures of Zafar and his family members. As per her own account, there was hardly any day when Zafar didn’t relish intercourse with her for less than 5 times. Zafar also allowed her to do the job but it happened only after she agreed that he would be given Rs 4, 000 per month as installment of his bike.

This new arrangement continued for 3 months without interruption. Nevertheless, at times for Zafar’s inhuman tortures Simonti used to express her anger and out of rage even censured Islam for two or three times. She was belted heavily for saying so. A beloved and dutiful husband! Isn’t it?

This new episode unfurled a new chapter; excessive tortures started to get more supports from mounting sexual offences against her at the same time. Even Simonti was threatened that she would have to share bed with three more Muslim youths – if she failed to gratify Zafar’s lecherousness (on the rise steadily). This was a straight case of perversion which from then on became a recurrent one. Simonti felt that Zafar’s failure to convince her to have some money from her father led him to perversion. But she was wrong. This was not the only reason; Zafar’s increasing abuses proved that it was the ideal fate of any Kafir (non-Muslim) girl, in particular Hindu. Simonti never got any medical assistance from the Muslim family, remaining nonchalant all the way.

Rising sexual torturing was totally unbearable for Simonti but due to Zafar’s insistence and also threatening she underwent 3 abortions. Was not it necessary for Zafar to adopt preventive measures during intercourse? Certainly but even after repeated pleas of Simonti to have those, Zafar shunned it citing religious factors. Persecutions made Simonti firmer than ever before and being advised by doctor not to opt for 4 th abortion, she gave birth to a girl child in 2009. And there was no resentment in the Muslim family against Simonti for this since she had got a job in WIPRO and agreed to contribute Rs. 5,000 per month. Meanwhile, out of the blue Simonti (forced by Zafar) called her father one day to provide her Rs. 30,000. He father turned the proposal down and instead asked her to return. Zafar fumed as a result, thrashed Simonti once more and decided to teach her a new lesson. What is this new lesson?

A few days ago to all these, Zafar had set up his own small factory and now he brought all the materials there (for working) to his residence stating that this way was cost-effective. To make way for all these, Simonti had to move to a bunk atop of the room, remaining in an outrageous condition. But nothing was there for Simonti; she had the right to submit to any wrongdoing only. How many years did she live there for? It’s for 2 and half years! It’s the most sordid experience in her life, accompanied by Zafar’s family’s slang languages and gestures.

Here are a few more significant and shocking facts. Prior to giving birth to her daughter (to steer clear of 4 th abortion risking her own life) Simonti went to Hatiara, Dist: 24 Paraganas (North), to evade further negligence of Zafar’s family. Since she was providing the necessary money on a monthly basis, none in the family did object to this decision. Within a week a house in Hatiara was found and Simonti started living there all alone. It was a tenants’ quarter; Simonti’s room was in the ground floor and she had to sharer bathroom with others. Zafar remained in his own house in Kolkata and used to visit this place once a week.

After living there for 6 months, Simonti found herself to be pregnant. When it was reported, Zafar, in spite of great unwillingness, took her to his own residence. He was not ready to kill a chicken providing a golden egg on every month. Here Simonti was frequently asked whether her child would be male. The Muslim family had a weird revulsion to female child and Zafar’s mother considered any female child as sin. During this time Simonti was forced to consume beef to ameliorate her own health. When she expressed her displeasure to have it on the first day, Zafar slapped her.

When on earth the daughter was born, Zafar was not present in the hospital. He came on the very next day, though reluctant. His baby became vulnerable to serious diseases but Zafar hardly cared. Simonti had to fight with him virtually to transfer the newborn infant to International Institute of Health Care in Kolkata, reputed medical institution, from the hospital. During this period presence of Zafar in the Institute was almost zero. Though Simonti made up her mind to leave the area permanently, she retuned to relatives-in-law’s house once more. And when her daughter was of four months old in 2009, Simonti decided to leave Zafar’s house once and for all. Simonti returned to her paternal abode finally.

But Zafar was not ready to leave her so easily. He used to visit Simonti’s paternal residence once per week and force her to have money from her father. Such pressure led to deterioration of her health and soon Simonti was attacked with jaundice due to malnutrition and her rough treatment. In Rubi Hospital Simonti was found to be underweight and was in need of complete rest. But Zafar’s family planned to take her to an exorcist! Such a heinous plan foiled thanks to strong fight of her family.

Once Simonti recovered, she decided not to return to Zafar’s house ever. Such a resolute decision ensued into a schism between Simonti and Zafar, who asked her to collect Rs. 20, 000 for him. He even threatened her of dire consequences if there was any refusal. At this time, to save her own and also daughter’s life, Simonti lodged a formal complaint against Zafar to the local police station. Zafar’s family, for the first time, stopped to proceed further due to fear. But strange enough, Simonti didn’t get any help from police.

Simonti didn’t know what to do next. But she was lucky enough as she got refuge from Hindu Samhati and with its help she got divorce in Islamic manner.

Simonti has returned to Hinduism once again and is waiting to convert her baby to Hinduism.

What is Simonti’s assessment of this episode in her life then? Simonti has finally concluded that Zafar married her to obtain copious amount of money from her father and she was trapped only after her family’s affluence was studied. There was not even an iota of love for her within Zafar.

Simonti is indeed lucky to finally break up shackles of Islamic love to her unlike tens of thousands of other hapless Hindu women, becoming easy preys to Love Jihad, without respite. Others either become victims of Islamic lust or are compelled to enter flesh trade and endure subhuman lives.

The above incident authenticates how Hindu girls, making love affairs with Muslim boys, end up. If any reader continues to disbelieve the above-mentioned account, complete devastation of their daughters’ lives can be the best eye opener. Is anyone ready to take up the challenge?

Gabbonia silent – apprehensive of new assault on Hindus

Both condition of Ajit Sardar, prime victim of Islamic brutality on 10.09.11, in village Gabbonia in Beharipara Atarbankia area, P.S. Jibantala, District: 24 Paraganas (South) in the Indian state of Bengal and also of the village happen to be stable at the moment. There has been no further approach from Muslim fundamentalists till now but Hindus continue to simmer in anger; they have identified their deprivation of rights by politico-administration-Islamist nexus.

Perhaps it is uncalled-for to mention the fateful incident on 10.09.11 any longer but there is no doubt that Ajit Sardar, completely ignorant of the entire development, turned into its worst victim. The Hindu-Muslim clash over a motorbike accident could have ended soon but the Muslims planned to win the game altogether and thus teach Hindus a lesson.

Ajit Sardar was coming from Charavidya market where he went to meet doctor for his ailing mother and he was returning with his mother and brother. Soon the entire family was identified as residents of Beharipara Atarbankia area by Muslim thugs and Ajit and his sick mother were manhandled and also tortured. Debu, his brother, could manage to escape and inform villagers.

The situation was dreadful but local police intervened after hours. And thus began a new episode of police-led animosity against Hindus. An FIR was lodged to the local police station by the Hindu family against Muslim miscreants, involved in the bike accident too. But police played with the poor Hindus there; there was no news whether the FIR was formally accepted as the case number was not provided.

Finally, due to intense pressure of Press and Human Rights Activists police accepted the FIR on 16.09.11 and it is 311 dtd. 16.09.11 – Sec. 341/323/324/326/34 of IPC (Indian Penal Code).

Ajit Sardar, at the moment, is confined within his own house due to heavy injury and as advised by the concerned doctor. He is suffering a tremendous loss in business and none is there to take care of his impoverished family. Villagers are apprehensive of another assault – Muslims are regrouping themselves.

Mograhat club gains major victory; upbeat to celebrate Durga Puja on same land

He who is a regular reader of this site can’t forget the name of Shovarani Athletic Club in village Dakshin Maryada, P.S. Mograhat, Dist: 24 Paraganas (South), a place known to get threats from Muslims every time it gets set to organize Durga Puja, easily. The previous years were no exceptions and only in the last year, the intensity reached the highest extent but Hindus of the area led by Sri Tapan Ghosh, president of Hindu Samhati, offered a stiff resistance to Muslim rowdies and emerged victorious ultimately. The bone of contention has been an Islamic burial ground adjacent to Shovarani Athletic Club and as per Muslims (representing almost 30 Muslim households amidst an overwhelming Hindu locality), land of the Club also belong to them.

Without doubt, the courageous resistance of Hindus has led to greater successes too. Through several meetings between contending groups (Muslims are enjoying rabid supports from adjoining Muslim-dominated areas) under the aegis of police and administration, a formal agreement has been completed. The agreement states categorically among 6 and ½ cottahs of land of Kabardanga (Islamic burial ground) 2 cottah belong to Sri Shankar Mandal while the Club has under its jurisdiction land worth ½ cottah. Muslims, as a result, have land worth 4 cottah.

The last meeting between Hindus and Muslims took place on 13.08.11and it was presided by an all-party delegation, O.C., C.I, BDO, Land Committee – Hotor Maryada Panchayat and current MLA Ms. Namita Saha. The formal agreement was completed in this meeting stating that the ½ cottah of land will remain to the Club for eternity and hence, inaccessible to any other party. What is more the Club can do its own construction in the land and independently.

However, the tract before the club remains a public property and hence, can be used for general use. But this new edict is not acceptable to a section of Hindus stating the administration sided for Muslims and gave them undue privileges.

Deep resentment, as a result, exists in the village still and to deal with any eventuality a police camp is stationed in the village. Volte-face to meet Milli Council leaders raises skepticism

Mamata Banerjee succumbs to Muslims once more! The meeting predestined to take place after Kalipuja, stated by her own in the recent Id congregation on Red Road, to conform to electoral guidelines, imposed for own candidature in the forthcoming assembly by-election from Bhowanipur, was preponed to gratify a novel set of demands of Muslims. The All India Milli Council (AIMC) leaders called on the Bengal Chief Minister with a fresh demand for reservation of jobs and seats in higher education for Muslims along with enhanced conditions in housing, health and education. The question remains in the sense of urgency shown by her to meet the senior Muslim leaders. Had she shown same haste if a Hindu delegation came all the way from Delhi to meet her with a fresh charter of just demands, to ameliorate worsening Hindu lives in present Bengal?

It is worthwhile to mention that such a meeting would take place before long became clear when Mamata Banerjee, breaking the tradition of no government participation in any religious program till then, attended the recent Id congregation on Red Road. The congregation was not only historic but also gained more attention due to the harsh tone of Qari Fazlur Rahman, Imam conducting the Id prayers. The Imam said (in clear terms), “The new government has shown remarkable urgency in solving the Singur issue, the Gorkhaland issue and the Jungle Mahal issue. But the urgency cannot be seen when it comes to sorting out the problems of the Muslim community.”

He also went on saying, “They (the new government) must learn a lesson from what happened to the previous government. The former government promised a lot of things but delivered very little. As a result, they were wiped out. If these people (the new government) take us for granted it won’t take us much time to show them the door.” A few moments after this vitriolic speech Mamata Banerjee said to the community leaders that she would meet them sometime after the Kali Puja (Diwali).

Mamata said “it was not possible for her to meet them now because of the model code of conduct that has come into force after the assembly by polls were announced. (As Mamata is now an MP, she has to become an MLA and for that purpose she is contesting the assembly by poll from Bhawanipur constituency of Kolkata. The by poll will take place on September 25.) She promised that she would meet them after the Kali Puja”.

What is the reason behind this abrupt volte-face then? Was it too essential for Bengal CM to meet AIMC leaders? Or through doing the same she is desperate to garner more Muslim votes in Bengal to ensure her own existence in the sphere of power?

One thing which she perhaps loves to deny or dream of – Hindu majority is devoid of any power to forestall her. But history has proved time and again – negligence to majority views is synonymous to suicide.

Hindus in Kulpi tortured by murderous Muslims

To nip any form of Hindu resistance movement in the bud Islamic fundamentalists, these days, are leaving no stone unturned and ugliest face of the same was witnessed in the villages of Uttar Narayanpur and Gomukhberia, P.S. Kulpi, District: 24 Paraganas (South) yesterday, September 13, 2011. Muslim felons, no less than 800, hailing from areas like Heliagachi, atmosid and kholapukur bazaar, with deadly weapons entered the said villages in the night and what took place after that is a rampage and plunder. Police and administration is yet to take any culprit into custody. What led to the savage attacks?

From confidential sources, it has been learnt, two Hindu women, inhabitants of Uttar Narayanpur, have illicit affairs with local Muslims leading to dissatisfaction and problems for people (mainly Hindus) in the neighborhood. To call all these a halt, local Hindu youths asked all (involved people in this affair) either to stop all immoral relations or leave the village. Muslims were in no mood to accept this and stimulated two women to proceed to court. But nothing did happen in reality as they didn’t have the courage to wage a war against a Hindu dominated area. Muslims continued to simmer in anger.

In the adjoining village of Gomukhberia, two Hindu-owned shops, for smoking opium and drinking country-made liquor, were highly popular and majority of its customers were Muslims. But the greatest casualty, in this case too, was the social atmosphere and dignity of Hindu women in and around the area. Hence, Hindu youths of both Uttar Narayanpur and Gomukhberia closed the shop on one fine morning forcibly. These are not crimes in any way but social duties. Both the abovementioned incidents happened recently.

However, Muslims can’t suffer any such ignominious retreat to Hindus. So they planned to take revenge in next to no time.

The attack of Islamic fundamentalists went on for almost an hour and at least, 10 Hindu houses were looted and also destroyed. Police forces, as usual, came later and assured the villagers that they would adopt strong measures to take culprits into custody in no time. Tension has gripped the entire area.

Police hiding Afjal Taher’s whereabouts in Bagnan

It is no longer a secret that a Muslim youth (in his later thirties), named Syed Afjal Taher (he introduced himself with this name), has been arrested from a hospital in Bagnan, District: Howrah, prominent census town in the Indian state of Bengal, based on suspicion that he is responsible for the Delhi blast happened of late. Police is also suspecting that he might have planted the bomb outside the High Court, Delhi, leading to the death of 13 people. Afjal is learnt to have had injuries on his face, limbs and head and these are similar to blast wounds, according to police.

But above all there is a question. What was he doing in Bagnan? Is the area a refuge for such Jihadi terrorists? People have the right to know the truth, concealed by the police and also administration. And now what we have learnt from our confidential sources is enough to raise eyebrows of any.

Contrary to the story published in the mainstream media that Afjal got off at Bagnan owing to unbearable pain and to have medicines, we have learnt that he remained in Thanzadapur village, P.S. Bagnan, for a number of days and in this case his shelter providers were a gang of youths, working as labors in embroidery industry. These youths are Muslims and have been working in Delhi for a number of years at a stretch.

Afjal asked them for a brief stay and used to live in the same village hence. It has been learnt that police have taken the youths to custody in secret to know more; a news that has been denied by the concerned administration.

Nevertheless, police have shared a few vital info too. Syed Afjal’s face matches the sketch of one of the suspects released by NIA (National Investigation Agency) and this is the prime of info. But police is reluctant to share the info we have at the moment.

Why doesn’t police divulge the names of youths alleged to provide him shelter? Is it also engaged in maintaining secularism instead of public safety?

Innocent Hindu family in Jibantala becomes victim of inhuman torture of Muslims

The name of village Gabbonia in Beharipara Atarbankia area, P.S. Jibantala, District: 24 Paraganas (South) in the India state of Bengal is not known to most of readers. Well, regular readers familiar with the name of Jibantala in this blog know that it denotes recurrent troubles for Hindus; Jibantala is one of the most disturbed areas of Bengal owing to rising Islamic atrocities and hence, strained Hindu-Muslim relation is common. What happened in the same area on 10.09.11 speaks of the same reality yet again.

On the fateful day, at 4 pm, a Muslim youth of Gopalmore Mandirbazar area, Iud Ali, was found driving a motorbike, carrying two other Muslim youths, Arfat Ali Gazi and Nuruddin Mollah, as well. While driving speedily, Iud, out of the blue, struck a cycle van, its Hindu driver and his passengers, Hindus also, on the whole. What took place after that was an angry battle of words – Hindu van driver, backed by local Hindus, asking for compensation (the van got damaged) and the Muslim youths refuting the same. At long last, the Muslim youths, owing to increasing pressure of gathering there, conceded defeat and agreed to compensate.

Meanwhile, one of three youths went to their village and brought a good number of Muslims to deal with any eventuality. Being supported by such a new and brawny crowd the Muslim youths declined any such compensation this time and also took oath that they would teach any person of Beharipara Atarbankia area the lesson of a lifetime. Hindus, being too disposed to peace, didn’t think to stop them there. Owing to this, a Hindu youth along with his family members became prey of inhuman torturing.

Ajit Sardar, a Hindu youth, along with his mother and brother, Debu Sardar, all at once, went to Charavidya market to meet the doctor there for his ailing mother. They were completely unaware of any such (abovementioned) development and hence, they were returning through the same (Muslim-dominated) area. Soon the entire family was identified as residents of Beharipara Atarbankia area and Ajit and his sick mother were manhandled and also tortured. The said three Muslim youths took key roles in this regard. Debu could manage to escape; he went to nearby Hindu area and with their help he could rescue his brother and mother. Both of them were submitted to hospital later on.

An FIR has been lodged to the local police station by the Hindu family against Muslim miscreants.

Hindu women easy preys to Islamic lust in Amta, Howrah

Whether it is by Love Jihad or any other vicious method, Hindu women in the Indian state of Bengal are becoming easy preys to lust of Islamic fundamentalists increasingly. If you consider this to be a problem of adolescence and hence refuse to paint it in the true color, you are terribly wrong my friend.

Experiences and both recorded and unrecorded incidents prove any lady from the age of 7 to 70 can become victim of the same lust. And all these remind us the ominous days of partition when it was steadily becoming impossible for Hindu women to live with dignity. Well, it has to be said that there is no end of Islamic lust for Hindu women and perhaps experiences of more than the last millennium and such recurrent episodes manifest the same. Amta, prominent and self-sustaining town and also a community development block in Uluberia subdivision, District: Howrah, is facing the worst.

Here is the case of Ms. Dolly Dutta, a young girl of 19 years and also student of BA 1 st year in Joypur College under Calcutta University, resident of village Nischintipur, Amta Block No.2, P.S. Amta. The girl has been missing for the last few weeks and her father Sri Nemai Dutta remained completely clueless in the beginning.

After lodging a diary to the local police station, some new and stunning facts came to the fore thanks to police efforts. Parents were just groping in darkness but little they knew that exploiting their unawareness and innocence of Dolly a foul game had been hatched. And in this respect, Rehana, friend of Dolly, played a decisive role. She was instrumental to introduce Dolly to Sheikh Raju of village Shaoraberia in the environs. It has been learnt that Raju was introduced as a small businessman to Dolly but later investigations have proved all these to be utterly false.

Dolly is still missing; it is being learnt that she has both been allured and abducted by Sheikh Raju. But his whereabouts is yet to be unearthed. Dutta family is crying in despair.

Here is the second case and it is of ravishment of a minor Hindu school girl of Class IV. Tithi Porel, daughter of Pradip Porel, resident of village Kultiwari, P.S. Amta, is a student of Shaoraberia Primary School in Class IV. She was raped by a manual laborer, Rabekul, resident of the village of Shaoraberia and in the same Shaoraberia Primary School. It has been learnt that he had been expressing erotic postures to her for weeks prior to the rape. Rabekul is in jail at the moment.

Now let’s focus to the third case and it’s of the rape of a Hindu girl of Class VIII by a teacher of her own school. The abhorrent incident took place on 07.09.11 at the Mainan Madhyamik Shikshayatan in Amta Block No. 2; P.S. Joypur. The culprit, in this case, is Sheikh Saifuddin, teacher of the same school, and he raped her in a vacant classroom in the 2 nd floor during the school hour.

As the news spread in the neighborhood, angry villagers along with parents of school students gheraoed the school premises for hours; stones were thrown and even some rooms of the school were also plundered. The school, hence, is facing worst turmoil in its lifetime. The teacher has been taken into custody but rage of people refuses to end.

Are the above ones isolated incidents? In no way and these are signs of worst dangers, potent enough to engulf Hindu lives in Bengal with ferocity before long. It’s the time to get cautious and not to remain as people having the worst sense of history across the globe.

This is my second visit to Jangipara, especially to the village of Santoshpur, Uttarpara (Rakta), in Hooghly district of the Indian state of Bengal. The earlier visit was also good and effective but quite concise owing to some inescapable obstacles, natural disaster. Now, as said in the earlier report, Hindu inhabitants of the village and its environs continue to remain in abject fear, frantic efforts of local Muslims to transform a neighboring Idgah to mosque are terrorizing them a great deal. But the second visit ascertains one more source of terror – it’s another bid of Muslims to transform a nearby bush to their burial ground. Both the emerging situation, rising clamor of Islamic felons are terrifying amiable, law-abiding Hindus. The land measures 79 decimals at Mouza – Santoshpur, J.L. No. 114, Dag No. 661.

Condition of Hindus in the neighborhood can be determined, hence, quite easily. While substantial part of them are denizens here for decades and their families for centuries, if not more, Muslims comprise chunk of fresh illegal migrants from Bangladesh, flexing muscles thanks to assistance of administration, Islamic prowess and Hindu ineptitude. It has been learnt that Sk. Abdul Mannan, son of Sk. Abdus Samad, is the instigator behind the endeavor to convert the bush to a burial ground. Witnessing Hindu rising against him the person complained of has filed a Writ Application to the Hon’ble High Court, Calcutta – No. W.P. No. 23506 (W) of 2010 against the Principal Secretary, Home Police Department, the Inspector General of Police (Law and Order), the Director General of Police, West Bengal, the District Magistrate, Hooghly, the Superintendent of Police, Hooghly, the SDPO, Hooghly, the Officer-in-Charge – P.S. – Jangipara and Debu Santra, leader of the movement and also prime respondent in this case. The Writ Application, at the moment, is pending before Hon’ble High Court, Calcutta.

Here comes a twist. Even if the entire matter is Sub-judice or awaiting judicial determination, Sk. Abdul Mannan, getting audacious has (already) applied frequent strong-arm tactics to acquire the land illicitly. What is the police and administration doing then? Hindus have made repeated appeals and also submitted memorandums to urge the police to adopt strong measure to nab the culprits; hushed voices, followed by a strange silence, were found out by Hindus only. According to the last report, on 18.08.2011, a Muslim mob in same Jangipara led by Sheikh Zahir, Salim Mandal, Sheikh Ramzan, Sheikh Zahirul Mallik, Sahabuddin Mallik, Sheikh Yusuf, went to the same line and started construction of a mosque. But SDO of Sreerampore, on account of fast corrosion of communal situation, prohibited any new construction on No. 82 Dag (line) till 29.04.2011.

All these prove how difficult it is getting for Hindus in Jangipara, not to speak of taunts or harassments of their girls by Muslim lads. But Hindus can’t leave the place even for once; any exodus would legitimize Muslim endeavors to uproot, exterminate Hindus at will. Islamic Bengal is waiting for that opportunity fervently.

Hindus either in Jangipara or anywhere have to fight; mass exodus from former East Pakistan or Bangladesh has never solved any problem. Bengali Hindus have become the greatest casualty of the British Empire and the fate has to be built up through their relentless and brutal fight in all possible ways. This is another chance rendered by history to Hindus.

If this bus is also missed, no passenger will be there for the next bus.

Muslims dare Bengal Chief Minister

This was not done by any of her preceding Chief Ministers in Bengal even but without doubt, Mamata Banerjee, present Chief Minister, West Bengal, is of a different nature and surely has the conviction to overwhelm her illustrious predecessors. She was invited to grace the recently held gigantic Id congregation held on Red Road of Kolkata; definitely she charmed the mammoth gathering but there were newer experiences for her as well.

Qari Fazlur Rahman, venerable Imam was found to conduct the Id prayers but what he told through his 20-minute speech in Urdu prior to the initiation of the sermon was indeed a great experience for the firebrand Bengal Chief Minister too. He (in clear terms) said, , “The new government has shown remarkable urgency in solving the Singur issue, the Gorkhaland issue and the Jungle Mahal issue. But the urgency cannot be seen when it comes to sorting out the problems of the Muslim community.”

This was not all. He also went on to say, “They (the new government) must learn a lesson from what happened to the previous government. The former government promised a lot of things but delivered very little. As a result, they were wiped out. If these people (the new government) take us for granted it won’t take us much time to show them the door.”

What does “take us for granted” indicate in this context? Is the Imam trying to ascertain that Muslims in Bengal are no more soccer balls but players and they can’t be taken for granted hence? If this is the reality, Hindus in Bengal have enough reasons to be cautious.

The fast worsening socio-religious and political situation in the length and breadth of Bengal indicates that the complete hell (Islamic domination) may fall on Hindus at any time. Meanwhile, Muslims are not sitting idle; apart from increasing vote shares, they have increased the number of Muslim MLAs from 43 in 2006 to 58 in 2011 registering an increase of 15 Muslim MLAs in the assembly also.

Who is the Hindu representative in this assembly? Not a single one! Hindus have to think twice before being too constitutional any more.

Muslims hell-bent to construct illegal mosque disregarding Hindu protests in Dinajpur

Thanks to assistance of Muslims outside and local administration, Muslim families in Jobtagoan are set to construct a mosque, illegal altogether, pushing aside objections of Hindus. The situation is indeed dreadful and none other than Bengali Hindus know fallout of such a success. The success would make it difficult for Hindus there to live peacefully any longer; recurrent, intentional and forcible sermons from mosque would make lives painful. As per latest news, Muslims, joined by many outsiders too, have started to pray namaz and the charisma of Irfan Bhatia, leader of the movement to construct the mosque, is increasing by leaps and bounds among his compatriots.

Owing to steadfast Hindu protests to the construction, local administration convened an all-party meeting on September 02, 2011 to find out a definite solution. But Muslims, getting sacred and apprehending sound defeat, came in great numbers and a good number of them were carrying lethal weapons too. To confuse Hindus there, Muslims said that meeting must initiate only after they pray namaz and without consulting others, they started praying at once. This was a sufficient reason to infuriate Hindus; a brutal clash broke out and the mosque was heavily damaged and also burnt. But sources do also authenticate that it was done by Muslims to slander and deceive both Hindus and administration. Even if a large police contingent became able to calm down the antagonism ultimately, deep tension governs the area still. As per latest news, a peace meeting would take place on September 07, 2011 to have a final solution.

Have you ever gone through the agonies of a helpless father who knows his daughter has been kidnapped, is being ravished regularly by Muslims? Can you comprehend his feelings when he realizes his own helplessness to stop this curse of oppression? This is no longer any bizarre development in the length and breadth of the Indian state of Bengal; situations like this are rampant these days where fathers ran from pillar to post to save their own daughters and find themselves utterly helpless in the end. Situation of Dinabandhu Mandal, inhabitant of village – Uttar Nalkara, P.S. Sandeshkhali, District: 24 Paraganas (North) is no different. Her eldest daughter, Dipanwita Mandal, age 19 has been abducted by Muslim felons; this is known to all but the administration is yet to adopt any definite measure to nab culprits.

Dipanwita, studious and also intelligent (3 rd yr.)student of BSC curriculum in Geography (Hons.) in Bhangar College, went to her college as usual at 11 am on 22/7/2011. And she has never returned to her home from that very day. Worried parents and other family members started enquiring in the environs. In a little while, from confidential sources, they came to know that Anarul Mollah, s/o Wachel Mollah, of the same village, along with his Muslim friends had forcibly abducted Dipanwita to convert her to Islam and marry her.

Anarul was completely supported by his own family members, including his parents and his brother Allauddin Mollah, s/o Wachel Mollah, in this regard. Dinabandhu, getting desperate, went all alone to rescue her daughter but a contingent of dreaded Muslims prevented him from going further. A few of them also challenged Dinabandhu to rescue his daughter and this proved Muslims were relishing the entire development.

Dinabandhu Mandal lodged a Missing Diary in P.S. Sandeshkhali, G.D.E. No.127 dtd. 23/07/11. But this failed to be profitable and when Dinbandhu, owing to the failure, desired to lodge an FIR against the aforementioned culprits, he was dissuaded by police on the whole.

Finding no other options, Dinabandhu Mandal made earnest appeals to SDPO, ASP (Additional Superintendent of Police), SP, Barasat, 24 Paraganas (North) and DIG, CID, West Bengal. As a fallout, a case is going on in the Court of Learned A.S.G.M at Basisrhat, District: 24 Paraganas (North).

But Dipanwita Mandal is yet to be found though many persons, it has been learnt, have seen her in the Muslim abode. Can she come back ever?

Muslim private teacher molests Hindu girl child

Even Hindu girl children are becoming vulnerable to lust of Muslim youths these days and unless girls are kept under close watch, experiences of Mousumi can be household phenomenon before long. Who is Mousumi? She is a girl child of 7 years age, an inhabitant of village Beara, P.S. Bagda, District: 24 Paraganas (North) and has become a victim of molestation by her Muslim private teacher. This ominous incident took place only on August 30.08.11 or yesterday at 5 pm in her own residence.

Parents of Mousumi, to better her standard in education, picked out a Muslim youth, age 18 years and also a student reading in Beara High School in the neighborhood, as teacher. He was primarily selected to teach two girls, Mousumi and her younger sister, at the same instant. But little did the family know of its consequences.

The Muslim teacher had some other or erotic intentions and with this end in view, he used to harass two girls, Mousumi in particular. Well, Mousumi used to remain quiet all the way but yesterday when she was molested outright Mousumi couldn’t remain quiet anymore. She, apart from revealing this nasty experience, expressed her past experiences as well. All these happened in her own house; since her mother was engaged in household jobs, the teacher, considering it as a brilliant opportunity, molested her.

The Muslim boy was asked without any delay and fright in both his face and gesture proved to be enough for the family of Mousumi. After repeated acts of hesitation, the Muslim teacher, finally, accepted his own guilt. As soon as this was done, the teacher was thrashed heavily and outright. Such was the anger of Hindus that people from local market area and surroundings flocked to residence of Mousumi and were in no mood to compromise.

An FIR has also been lodged; police has assured to nab the culprit and adopt strong measures. The Muslim teacher has been taken into custody.

Repeated bids to transform Idgah to mosque worry Hindus in Jangipara

Surely not many people haven’t heard the name of Santoshpur, Uttarpara (Rakta), Jangipara, P.S. Jangipara, District: Hooghly in Bengal but Hindus of the village are in a deep trouble these days owing to desperate bids of local Muslims to transform a neighboring Idgah to mosque. And any such effort, thanks to dreadful experiences, appears to be greatest danger to Hindus. Hindus in Jangipara are also apprehending the worst.

Definition of mosque is simple; it does denote a Muslim place of worship that usually has a minaret and this is the most comprehensible and accepted notion across the globe. But even if anyone tries to stop here, it can’t be. People in various regions all over the globe have started to realize that construction of a mosque is nothing but establishment of a cantonment or an institution for training Muslim civilians to become ideal warriors or Jihadi. Without a shred of doubt, Hindu experience is much bitter than the fresh victims of worldwide Jihad.

But from 10.07.2009 when Muslims started a new construction of mosque all have changed and their covert approach and success to transform the word “Idgah” to “Mosque” in government records has been beneficial for them.

To ward off all tensions a meeting led by local administration (BDO, Jangipara) comprising both Hindu and Muslim representatives happened on 30.07.2009 but it failed to bring out any solution. BDO asked Muslims to stop construction verbally and also pleaded with Hindus to remain calm. The situation, however, remained unchanged and repeated approaches to construct a new mosque were found. Sreerampore SDO, owing to fast deterioration of communal situation, prohibited any new construction on No. 82 Dag (line) till 29.04.2011.

But on 18.08.2011, a Muslim mob led by Sheikh Zahir, Salim Mandal, Sheikh Ramzan, Sheikh Zahirul Mallik, Sahabuddin Mallik, Sheikh Yusuf went to the same line and started construction of a mosque. Due to a strong Hindu protest and to avert any communal clash, police intervened fast and calmed the fiery situation down.

Tension remains in the village and its neighborhood a lot.

What will be the fate of Hindus in Mathurapur?

It’s no longer a secret ………… even a minute and futile break can be exploited by Islamic fundamentalists to pounce on Hindus. And to save own skin and kith and kin Hindus have to build up strong resistance movements. But this is also not an easy task; if it had been, hapless Hindus in Mathurapur would have remained safe and sound. What has taken place in Mathurapur manifests that Hindus have become latest casualty in democratic India.

Here is the truth.

That the Hindu festival of Janmasthami Puja (celebration of Lord Krishna’s birthday) could be a source of annoyance for Muslims in the vicinity was first comprehended when a Hindu-Muslim schism took place in the village Purba Ranaghata, P.S. Mathurapur, Lalpar area, District: 24 Paraganas (South) on August 22, 2011. However, Hindus did not apprehend any such trouble since Bhagavat Path, to celebrate the pious occasion, happening nightlong on August 21, 2011 and widely circulated through microphone, was unchallenged.

But the situation became different on Monday, August 22, 2011. At 2 pm a few children were playing with some plastic chairs before the podium of celebration and a child, by coincidence, left a chair in the thoroughfare. A Muslim cycle van driver (Saddam Hussain Gharami), while driving in a little while, faced obstacles as a result and he threw the chair scolding Hindus.

Bapi Paik, a Hindu youth present there, protested loudly against this leading to an attack on him by Saddam. There was a brawl between the two soon, getting violent increasingly and such was its extent that Saddam didn’t hesitate to push his mother (lone passenger in the van) aside brutally, when the later was trying to stop the battle royal.

Saddam, after a few minutes, retuned to the same spot with Islamic thugs (at least 200) and attacked Bapi’s family decisively and violently. In this lethal attack, all male members of Paik family, including Bapi, Dilip Paik – his father, Judhisthir Paik – his uncle, were heavily wounded and they were left dumbfounded. But the strong Islamic contingent did not retract once and for all. Between 2 pm and 5 pm they came back for 8 times in a row and during their absence, Muslim children were keeping watch on the Paik family.

To have justice, Paik family members went to Rezzaq Haldar, head of the local Panchayat at 5.45 pm. He listened to both Hindus and Muslims and to find out the reality, a meeting was convened in residence of Mocha Gharami, father of Saddam, within the next 1 hour. Nevertheless, both Bapi and his brother, being terrified, skipped the meeting. Muslims in the meeting refused to accept judgment in their absence. Hence, it was decided there that the final meeting would take place on August 23, 2011.

On August 23, 2011, during evening, the meeting took place in “Pragati Sangha”, a primary school in the village. But it turned out to be a different scene altogether. When the Paik family members were elucidating tortures on them, Muslims termed it as a blatant tall tale and were all set to thrash the entire family once more.

They put off electric supply in the entire area and came down more heavily on the members of Paik family. Even Rezzaq Haldar was not spared also. Police, when phoned, rushed to the spot but Rezzaq Haldar, in spite of repeated asking of police, preferred to stay mum.

Members of the Paik family were found severely wounded and were sent to the hospital close at hand by the police. Mathrapur Hospital refused to admit Bapi Paik due to his excessive injury. He was transferred to Diamond Harbor Hospital and as per latest information, his life is at stake.

When there was an approach to lodge an FIR in P.S. Mathurapur by Hindus, it was deferred citing the change of Officer-in-Charge of the police station.

The situation is tense in the village still. Hindus are regrouping there to avert deadlier Islamic attacks.

Bagnan Howrah flares up; Muslims desperate to stop coming Janmasthami there

Bagnan, notable census town in Howrah district in the Indian state of Bengal, has been gripped by tensions and Hindu apprehensions of attacks by Muslims following a violent attempt by an Islamic mob on August 18, 2011 to stamp Hindu moral fiber down. The ominous event started in Khadinan, Bagnan, Howrah, at 4.30 pm, following a verbal confrontation between Hindu Sahmati members, engaged in collecting funds to celebrate upcoming Janmasthami (birthday of Lord Krishna) Puja in local Saraswati Ashram, and a Muslim lorry driver who refused to contribute it in any way.

The verbal confrontation ended soon after and Hindu youths left the place. But it was not any end for the Muslim driver. Just after a few minutes he along with a group of Muslim youths having long bamboo sticks, small swords, hockey sticks were found to enter the Ashram premises and started to thrash anybody they could find before them.

Some Hindu boys, at that time, were working out in the Ashram’s gymnasium and once they put up strong resistance, the thugs were trounced and they had to retreat. But this was also not the end.

A strong contingent of Muslims from neighboring villages, containing at least 300, brandishing country made weapons, came to the Ashram around 6 pm to destroy every Hindu presence there and thus avenge the earlier defeat. Well, Hindus apprehended such an approach beforehand and hence, almost 120 Hindu youths along with local Hindu people were on guard. Hindus turned out to be enough to defeat Islamic cronies once more.

Two successive defeats became unbearable for Muslims to withstand and as a result, they blocked off National Highway No. 6 in the evening. To ward off any untoward development, a large battalion of RAF was deployed and at 9 pm, following administrative intervention, the blockade was withdrawn.

But the situation changed completely from today (August 19, 2011)’s morning. Muslims of the adjoining villages, offered their namaz at 12.30 pm blocking the same NH-6 yet again and the blockade disrupted normal life in the environs.

Nevertheless, stringent steps adopted by the police and administration yet again including light lathi-charge called the protest a halt and agitating Muslims, fuming in anger, returned empty handed. Tension prevails in the area still and to dispose of any more unlawful activities sec. 144 has been declared.

Hindus are considering that this is an Islamic ploy to bring Janmasthami Puja, mainstay of Hindu confidence in the locality, to a standstill and also apprehending more similar attacks in near future.

Walling Muslim cemetery fails to assure Hindus in Deganga

Will Hindus there have to boycott coming Durga Puja too?

Will Hindus in Deganga, hotpot and also mainstay of anti-Hindu terror activities, become safe finally? In the meeting all concerned dignitaries like SDO, SDPO, BDO were present. Among others present there included local Officer-in-Charge (O.C.) and panchayat president. The meeting was presided by both SDO, Prabal Kumar Maity and SDPO, Mehboob Akhtar, and it was annunciated there that the administration had already taken the decision to wall the aforementioned Kabarsthan (cemetery) leaving 16 ft. way (bone of contention) for public usage.

Representatives of each group were informed on 25/07/11 that construction of wall would take place on 26/07/11 from 6 am.

Nevertheless, members of Kabarsthan Committee present there raised objections stating their legitimate demands of additional land. As per them, since there is a need to demarcate between cemetery and the adjoining land, owned by Asutosh Ghosh, cemetery’s total area has to be extended, indicating (wordlessly) that 16 ft. way destined for public usage may be wiped out by the next virulent Muslim campaigns. According to members, Kabarsthan Committee owns 5 ft. land, at least, in the adjoining land.

The administration, at this time, proved to be steadfast and declared formally any land worth 5 or 6 ft. would be added to the existing 16 ft. path (meant for public use) only. Finding no other option Muslims members gave in.

Hindus’ demand to have a part of land to hold fairs occurring at every year’s Durga Puja still continues. It is to be noted, fencing around the cemetery engulfs the land which Hindus have been using for decades to hold Puja fairs. To deal with Hindu demands, local administration announced earlier that it would purchase the adjacent land, under possession of Asutosh Ghosh.

Meanwhile, Asutosh Ghosh has sent his consent letter to the administration stating his willingness to sell off the entire land worth 9 and a-half bigha but not any particular portion. In accordance with the administration, this process is in full swing. It has also been learnt that DM, 24 Paraganas (North) has already asked PWD to prepare its land by the side of thoroughfare for the upcoming Puja fair.

On the fateful day (26/07/11) no less than 300 laborers were employed, under the guidance of a huge police force, led by O.C. s of 8 adjoining police stations. The wall was completed on a single day barring a small portion.

But the episode doesn’t end here thanks to fast changing Muslim attitudes. A chunk of them have started to state that the said 5 ft. of land can’t be sacrificed ever and this tract belongs to them exclusively.

With this end in view, almost 200 Muslims went to P.S. Deganga, on 25/07/11 in evening, to stage this demand of them to the administration. Nonetheless, they were not allowed to enter the police station and this has fuelled their anger.

Hindus are terming this as indication of a more ominous development (still to come) and are in fear that the Islamic outrage of last year may befall in this year too. Will friend-turned-foe-turned-friend administration act positively this year?

Or whether Hindus will have to boycott coming Durga Puja like the preceding one?

Chengail High Madrasa – complete hell for Hindu teachers

The definition of madrasa is simple – it basically denotes a building or group of buildings used for teaching Islamic theology and religious law, typically including a mosque and this word, by now, has become common to the majority of Indians, if not more. And the main credit, in this regard, goes to Indian administration, firm to espouse madrasa education to authenticate its own secular credentials.

Well, the reality refuses to end here since the role of madrasa education to radicalize Muslims, to wage Jihad against infidels, across the globe is getting more and more evident. But little do people know that Hindu teachers in India do also work in such madrasa s and knowledge of how they are harassed, religiously persecuted there at all times is completely zero.

One such heart-rending account from Chengail, Dist. Howrah in the Indian state of West Bengal has come to the fore. Hindu teachers, for years, are undergoing all forms of persecutions in Chengail High Madrasa (Higher Secondary) and they, finding no solution, are in despair these days. Didn’t they approach to local administration or political parties? They did but the greatest votaries of secularism didn’t heed them.

Here is a brief account of tortures on them.

In 2010, to contest in Chengail High Madrasa board’s election three 3 Hindu teachers and staff submitted their nomination papers. But this activity appeared to be audacious to Muslims in the vicinity and after being threatened of dire consequences, nomination papers were withdrawn. It was clearly declared that no Hindu could contest in the election to form new Chengail High Madrasa board. To thwart any such intention, on 12.10.2010 (day of election) Bikash Chandra Adhikary, well-known Hindu teacher, was manhandled initially and thrashed lots later on. The other Hindu teachers were slandered and beaten similarly. Even if a complaint was lodged to the then secretary of Chengail High Madrasa board, no step was adopted to ensure safety of Hindu teachers.

Muslim students are encouraged to protest against Hindu teachers and consider any lesson, not appreciated by their religious ethics, as outrageous. Parents of students are alleged to play get roles in this context. Hence, Hindu teachers have to remain fretful at every time. They know that a single caution, not to speak of slapping, against a student would let hell fall on them.

New ploys to evict Hindu teachers are being developed nowadays. Often complaints from Muslim parents that Hindu teachers waste time instead of educating their wards are lodged. Well, several investigations have already been made to find out the reality and in each case, falsity of such charges have been found out. Recently a Hindu teacher was penalized for reprimanding an inattentive Muslim girl in the class. The accusation was utterly false but teacher was compelled to give Rs. 500 as compensation and the school board remained like a dumb spectator.

On 14.07.2011, Shaktiprasad Panda, while teaching Life Science in Class X (A), cited references of worldwide acclaimed philosopher Herbert Spencer . His this act was termed as anti-Islamic at once and rabble-rousers, taking hold of the situation, forced him to stay away from the school for a week. He could attend the school again on 23.07.2011 only after expressing regret to local Muslims. What was his fault? None knows.

On 20.07.2011, regarding this incident, lots of Muslims entered school’s staff room and defamed Hindu teachers. Hindu woman teachers were not spared; they had to undergo raunchy remarks.

Hindu teachers, men and women alike, of Chengail High Madrasa are devoid of any form of security now. Worst fears that they can be thrashed violently, raped and even hacked to death or killed (in other ways) are looming the teachers in general.

Recent confession of the school secretary of his inability to save Hindu teachers has made the situation gloomier. Teachers and their families do not know what to do and are crying out in despair.

This is not an indigenous problem of Bengal only bust such incidents are afflicting whole of India ever more.

Hindus do not have any maneuver to call all these a halt.

Muslim teacher accused to preserve illegal arms released following political rush

Sheikh Muhammad Abu Siddique, resident of village Gangulidanga, Srikhanda, Katwa in Dist: Burdwan, also a teacher of English in Kadampukur Senior High Madrasa, is a freeman these days. Well, every Indian remains free till the moment he/she is taken into custody or convicted but the case of this middle-aged teacher is barely credible. On last Tuesday he was arrested along with his brother Areshed Nabi (quack by profession) for keeping illegal arms in own residence.

But local political backing (including sudden CPIM-TMC bonhomie) for him proved to be overwhelming for police and Abu Siddique was released on the next day. However, his brother is still behind bars.

Abu Siddique is known to be a Leftist teacher, leader in the environs and is also member of Srikhanda-2 branch of CPIM. Nevertheless, even if the local panchayat is still under aegis of Congress, TMC (Trinamool Congress), following the recent landslide, is flexing its muscles here and is also drawing CPIM members more and more.

Getting a tip, local police entered residence of Abu Siddique at dead night on Tuesday and unearthed an arms consignment having 8 bombs and 1 musket (muzzle-loading shoulder gun with a long barrel). Both the teacher and his brother were arrested accordingly but little could administration imagine what this would lead to.

On Wednesday, to release the teacher, students of Kadampukur Senior High Madrasa blockaded Burdwan-Katwa road from 7 am. And this approach was heightened by the enthusiastic support of lots of people of Gangulidanga. This was followed by the entering of CPIM and TMC cadres into the scene and soon transport system to Burdwan, Katwa, Bolpur, Guskara became out of gear.

When police advanced to disperse the unruly mob at 10 am, it was stated that the teacher had become part of a conspiracy. Apprehending that the situation might get worse police called the protesters for a discussion. Teachers of Kadampukur Senior High Madrasa and local Child Care Educational Institute along with 150 students as a minimum hired a bus and went to the police station right away. Both CPIM and TMC leaders followed them.

Muhammad Jakiruddin, Superintendent of Senior High Madrasa, stated overtly, “Miscreants demanded money from Abu Siddique and due to his denial to pay, he was made a victim.” Kamal Tagore, member of CPIM Katwa Zonal Committee, did not incriminate anyone directly (to remain safe) but stated, “Our teacher-leader has been victimized for political reasons.”

Kanchan Mukherjee, vice-president of TMC Burdwan district committee, said, “Abu Siddique may well be a CPIM activist. But we protested since he was arrested fallaciously.”

A marathon meting, led by SDPO (Katwa) Jyotirmoy Roy, occurred consequently on the same day, to find out a strong and satisfactory solution. After long hours and getting a written assurance to render all possible helps to police investigation from him, Abu Siddique was finally released.

However, his brother Areshed Nabi is languishing in jail still.

Last but not least, there is a question. Would CPIM and TMC have acted similarly in case of any Hindu teacher?

Hindu boy ostracized for marrying a Muslim girl

Love Jehad may be in full swing but if the reverse takes place it leads to fracas only and decisive ruin of the Hindu family. This is not any uncommon incident and fate of Purnendu Pradhan, resident of village Durgapur, P.S. Ramnagar, Dist: East Midnapur, portrays the same. The one and only crime of Purnendu was to love and marry Sahana Sultana, resident of village Baduria of Khandaghosh in Burdwan. Even if the Pradhan family did not take any exception to this marriage, none of them was spared. They were thrashed severely by the bride’s family and have also been casted out in their own village.

It has been learnt that Purnendu and Sahana met each other a year ago in a marriage party in Burdwan and thus began affection between them leading to marriage on July 06, 2011conforming to the Hindu Special Act. And the couple escaped fearing resentment in their houses.

When everything became public, Sahana Sultana’s family members came all the way from Burdwan to East Midnapur, threatened Hindu boy’s family of dire consequences and also thrashed them. Even, as per Purnendu’s complaint, his brother was threatened to be murdered. Telephone became the best way to threaten Hindus. On July 18, 2011 the Hindu household was attacked devastatingly.

However, till date no assistance has been provided to the terrified family in Durgapur. What is more, the entire family has been ostracized for this unpardonable (?) offence. Village Durgapur is alleged to be mainstay of Hindu-Muslim peaceful co-existence and as per info, Muslims have played substantial role behind the banishment.

What can hapless Hindus in Dharmatala do now?

Religious atrocities on Hindus, especially its weaker sections, in the Indian state of Bengal remain unabated and without doubt, whatever may be the change in state’s regime, Islamic dogmatism with the covert and sometimes overt support of the administration is in full swing and the hapless situation of Hindus in village Dharmatala, Block – Canning, P.S. Canning, Dist. 24 Paraganas (South), now portray all these best. The brawl emanating from a niggling incident on July, 16 has led to an appalling outcome evidencing yet again that Muslim zealots have faith in the globally despised Nazi notion - “Blame the dog before you shoot.”

On July 16, 2011, at 1.00 pm, a Hindu boy (22 years of age) named Sanyyasi stole a cell phone in Dhosaghat, P.S. Joynagar. He was soon spotted by Uttam, an auto-rickshaw driver and living in Dharmtala’s environs, and Sannyasi was thrashed heavily. During evening, on the same day, Uttam was found to watch a rubber ball tournament in Dharmatala. When it was learnt, Sannyasi came there along with his Muslim friends and Uttam was beaten back and blue in the field.

Hindu boys present there made great efforts to settle down the incident and after a few moments they succeeded even. However, a Muslim boy there used abusive languages against Hindus and the enraged Hindus, as a result, prevented him. Soon after Siddique Sardar, s/o Chaid Sardar, resident of an adjoining village, came there and hurled insults against Hindus including their rituals and sacred deities. Siddique was beaten at this time by Hindus and he got a head injury too. He had no way other than to retreat. But his hunger for vengeance was far from over.

At 5 pm, in the same evening, family members of Siddique with their Muslim neighbors, brandishing lethal weapons, came to Dharmatala and said unless the sport was stopped, everyone there watching the rubber ball tournament would be attacked. The threat created a panic but the interference of local SUCI leaders saved the situation for the time being. The tournament completed by the next day (Sunday, July 17, 2011).

Nothing did take place in the following week but on next Sunday, July 24, 2011, at 1.00 pm, 8 armed Muslim thugs were seen to advance to Dharmatala and within a few minutes they attacked Hindus of the village with ferocity. Thugs included Rafiqul (brother of Siddique), Naushed Mandal s/o Abul Mandal, Shajahan Sardar s/o Sammad Sardar, Ibran Sardae s/o Erad Ali Sardar (deceased) and others.

Women were not spared too and many of them were manhandled, molested and their clothes were torn even. Cronies fired shots too but since those did not perform, the gang retreated. But after 15 minutes the gang came back and fired and injured some Hindus awfully with country-made weapons. Hindus ran hither and thither to save themselves; after completion of the operation Muslim felons went back to their village.

Here is a list of injured Hindus. They Are Ramapada Mandal, Sumitra Mandal, Jamuna Sardar, Lilu Mandal, Sushil Mandal, Baburam Mandal, Palan Mandal, Tulobala Mandal, Mamata Mandal, Gandhi Sardar, Mohan Mandal and a few others.

Police was informed at 1.20 pm of the entire incident but they managed to reach the village at 4.10 pm only. It must be kept in mind that P.S. Canning is positioned at a distance of 25 kms from Dharmatala. Police remained in the village till 7 pm but proved to be apathetic to Hindus by and large.

When Hindus went to P.S. Canning to lodge a formal complaint against said Islamic thugs, they were told that to make a GD (General Diary) they would have to provide Rs 50 while in case of FIR Rs 300 would have to be paid. Have you heard this ever before? Again, even if wounded villagers were sent to the local hospital by police, hospital administration flatly denied rendering them any document regarding medication.

It has also come to the knowledge that Yaya Khan and Moshiar Sardar (both from SUCI) are handling the incident. Result is too obvious. Isn’t it?

Last of all, on 27/07/11 villagers in Dharmatala went to P.S. Canning again to loge a formal complaint. But they were driven out from the police station saying that it was not a playground.

Where can these hapless Hindus go now? Should they surrender to Islamic fundamentalism?

Harmed and innocent Alok Singha of Shantipur arrested

Denoting a startling development, Alok Singha of Singha family, inhabitants of Ramnagar Para, P.S. Shantipur, District: Nadia, who became subject to dreadful attacks of the adjacent notorious family of Jakat Sheikh on 13/07/11 for protesting against their dumping garbage in the common lane and thus to annoy Hindus, has been arrested. It has come to the knowledge that Alok was arrested just as he stepped out of Shantipur State General Hospital. Sections imposed on Alok Singha include 307/325/326.

The approach of the administration, in this regard, is highly appalling.

The previous report has already been issued in our blog (http://southbengalherald.blogspot.com/2011/07/hindus-wounded-brutally-in-nadia-to.html) and briefly, the fracas started when on 13/07/11, at 5 pm, family members of Jakat Sheikh were witnessed to dump garbage (having stinking smell) in the lane and pollute the neighborhood yet again. When Asok Singha did protest, he was thrashed heavily. Other members of the family including Alok were also not spared and hence, they were admitted to local hospital.

Singha family lodged an FIR (Case no. 509 dated 13/07/11) against Sheikh family members but there has not been any arrest yet and three sons of Jakat Sheikh are allegedly on the run. Why have the police failed to get hold of them?

Another important issue is there. During a talking between Officer-in-Charge of P.S. Shantipur and this scribe, attended by a few others, on 14/07/11, he admitted in full sense that the family of Jakat Sheikh was ill-famed to the local police and administration also whereas Singha family had always been decent.

Hindu Samhati meeting in Hotor ushers new era of Hindu strength

This led to wild assaults of Islamic cronies- almost 20 of them came to the ashram and ransacked it straight away. A young Hindu man, named Bhola, came to the rescue but he was also badly beaten.

Ashram authority has lodged an FIR to the local police station in this regard.

Sheikh Ismail leads brutal Muslim mob to slay Hindus in Gangasagar

Agrarian conflicts regarding vested lands are not new in West Bengal but the violence and hatred shown by Islamic miscreants, under the auspices of Sheikh Ismail, nefarious CPM leader, on 16/07/11 against Hindus in Gangagsagar, P.S. Sagar, in this context, is not only horrific but raises several questions also at the same instant. The bloody whacking of Hindus has revealed the ugly face of Islamic fundamentalism yet again and in particular of Sheikh Ismail, uncrowned king of the locality owing to his affluence, authority and nefarious activities. Without doubt, it has also illustrated how reigning Trinamool Congress (TMC) is wretched in the same area. Here is the first question. Has it started to hobnob with Sheikh Ismail being helpless?

Every tale has its own beginning and here, even the beginning has also its own beginning that dates back to the time when then omnipotent CPM had the policy of distributing vested lands. As per records, 250 bigha of vested land was distributed under control of Sheikh Ismail in the locality. Nevertheless, affluent Muslim families were also beneficiaries of the project while remaining part was distributed among underprivileged Muslim and Hindu families. All these led to sustenance of Muslim power in the environs.

Ascension of TMC to power in Bengal and its decision to change earlier status of 250 bigha of vested land in the surroundings, i.e. to take lands enjoyed by landholders instead of wretched ones and distribute those among poor people, appeared to be unbearable for Sheikh Ismail. Following the party decision, fervent TMC activists planted party flags in those lands, torn by followers of Sheikh Ismail repeatedly.

TMC activists, hailing from adjoining villages and championing the same cause, held several meetings in the vicinity and were sheltered by local Hindu families. Hindus were recognized as foremost enemies by Sheikh Ismail and his gang. To call these activities a halt, Sheikh Ismail held a meeting on 15/06/11 at night.

On 16/07/11, at 7.30 am, a contingent of almost 40 Muslim assailants, led by Sheikh Basit, brother of Sheikh Ismail, attacked residence of Amulya Das, one of those who provided shelter to TMC activists. The house was ransacked, turned into rubbles and his daughter-in-law Sulekha Das, age 25 years, was dragged outside. She was molested, her dress was torn and after that she was beaten heavily. Amulya Das was not spared; he was slammed violently and his fingers were also broken.

Hearing all these, a few Hindus, TMC workers at once, rushed to the spot. Assailants left the spot already. However, when (around 10 am) they were spotted near Gangamandir, Hindu youths struck back leading to injuries of a few attackers. The situation calmed down as a result and Hindus moved back. Little could they imagine the aftermath at that time.

At 10.30 am, Hindus learnt that Hindu properties, houses and valuables were being destructed and plundered by the same assailants. This time too they rushed to the spot but got awestruck perceiving trigger-happy postures among assailants, presence of lethal weapons with them and wholehearted support and presence of their womenfolk there, using lethal weapons like Katari, Chopper (rural weapons) and chilly powder simultaneously.

Seeing Hindu men the gang simply pounced on it leading to grave injuries of all. One of them is Sushit Maity, age 31. A chopper was applied on him and accordingly, his nose was cut in two pieces almost. He, at the moment, is fighting with death. Lalu Das, age 30, was also attacked with chopper and his hand got severely wounded. To take flight from sure death all he could do was to jump in a nearby pond. But Muslim attackers were last to leave him; they also jumped into water with swords and Lalu was roughly severed. His condition is grave at the moment.

Gopal Mandal, age 28, became wounded when an iron rod was slammed on his head. Panchanan Pramanik, age 31, got injury in chest. He is fractured currently and bleeding from inner side of his cheek is unstoppable still. All of them are in Kolkata Bangur Hospital while Sulekha Das, her father-in-law and another villager have been admitted to GangasagarRudranagar Health Center.

It must also be said that a few Muslim TMC supporters arrived at that time but perceiving intensifying violence, allegedly they fled out of fear. Is this is one and only reason? Or were they disinclined to fight against their fellows?

Some of the assailants are Sheikh Ismail, Sheikh Basit, Sheikh Bhogu along with others. But non of them has been arrested yet and hence, all of them are roaming freely at the moment. Police, as per latest information, has declined to register separate FIR s from both sides, and has filed a joint FIR against riot.

But some questions are yet to be unanswered. Bankim Hazra, present TMC MLA of Sagar Assembly Constituency, is yet to adopt any valorous measure to put an end to the fracas and apply shackles to Sheikh Ismail. Notably, Sheikh Ismail was responsible to lead a brutal Muslim mob and attack HS workers in Gangasagar on 12 June 2008.
